They are dirty sneaky scammers

They are dirty sneaky scammers. I signed up for a membership while i didn’t even know it. And i am not the only one with this problem apparently. Do not buy from them.

The terms of a Luxplus membership are posted on the homepage of www.luxplus.co.uk, at the bottom of every product page, and in the basket during checkout. Moreover, when you place an order, you must first accept the terms and conditions as well as the subscription conditions before you can proceed to payment. FRAUDULOUS MEMBERSHIP AFFILIATION

Each Time you buy; they fraudulously subscribe you to a 9.95€ a month membership fee!!!!
All automatically paid from your account !

It took me months to realise I was paying 9.95€ a month for a service a NEVER asked for.

You can see below the many messages from other consumers who experienced the same fraudulous behaviours !

I’ll personally report this to Cyber Crime Surveillance platforms.

Yet ; I don’t believe the theory you described comes as clearly into practices.
I guess LUXPLUS is probably aware of the issue related to their abusive “membership” behaviours ; provided the numerous complains raised on Trust Pilot on the same subject ; just as an example.

It’s not because LUXPLUS is self satisfied of the processes in place to justify that customers are being automatically affiliated with extra recurring costs (revenues for LuxPlus) that the process is customer proof and diligent.
I’m afraid to tell you it is not.

While pursuing such practices detrimental to the Brand notoriety ; LUXPLUS should do a much greater job at WARNING (not just « informing ») about the potential costs associated with the membership price.
These behaviours (potentially fraudulous) are dommaging the customers experience; and as such your brand loyalty.

Again: relating to the countless claims on different customers sites (ie trustpilot) and the Satisfaction scoring rated around 3 for a site like LUXPLUS ; men should not be self-satisfied with the current processes & customer journeys in place as you described above - most probably there to legally disclaim the company rather than truly support the customers experience!

Dishonest! Sneaky thieves!

about the membership: it is mentioned, but NOT visibly. it is unclear. and you received many complaints about it, so maybe it is time to change and/or make it more clear?!? honestly, i feel like you stole from me and it is leaving me really frustrated. Not fair! I haven't used it at all and I was unconsciously paying for it!

ORDER NEVER ARRIVED!

Placed an order which said was delivered but I did not sign for or receive it.
Emailed customer service only to be met with a response saying "it had been delivered" absolute joke! still haven't received my item and they have not helped me at all!

Further to your reply I have contacted you 3 separate times via your customer service email about this and you have not done anything about it liars!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I’ve never seen a company that tries to save as much money as possible at customer’s expenses. I’ve been a member for six months, placing orders constantly. Once, a product arrived damaged, with liquid spilled all over the box. Because the product was not empty they offered to reimburse 10% of the value of the item. I was in shock. In my last order THEY didn’t ship one item. I asked for a reimbursement. I paid 8,49 for that item but they reimbursed 7,60. How come they reimbursed less for a mistake from them?! Is not about the quantity but about ethics. Actually I have cancelled my membership already when an order took three weeks to arrive and they could only answer back every 48 hours after every email. I thought giving a third opportunity but after the last bad experience reimbursing less money than I paid for a mistake of them I’ll never buy from them again. Amazon has very good prices as well and with better company ethics.

When products are only slightly damaged on the outside but the product itself is still the same, we indeed offer a percentage of the product. In your case this as 20%.
For your other order, i can see that you received a 10% discount, so we refunded the amount that you paid for the product :)

SCAM - DONT BUY FROM THIS SITE

This website uses questionable methods to make you register as a member (with monthly fee).

If you don't pay close attention when you order, you don't notice it because it's free for the first 14 days.
Then they take 10EUR every month on your account. It's a small amount so they know that most people won't notice for a while before cancelling.

What they do is probably legal, but it's an obvious trap and you don't want to give your money to such company.

Luxplus has a great variety of products

Luxplus has a great variety of products with a very good price. I stopped buying house cleaning products at the regular supermarket and I shop my monthly cleaning products here.

Terrible abonnement conditions

Terrible abonnement conditions. If you sign up and your card is closed they will send you to an inkasso to collect the fees. Normally this type of abonnement would just stop if you do not pay. Not very costumer friendly approach. I will never return after this.

Some customers have charged back membership costs. This is not in line with our terms and conditions and will create an open payment. If you have this open payment Procollect will contact you about this. If the open payment is not paid in time then the costs will increase.

Bad experience

It's not immediately apparent that you pay a EUR 10 monthly "membership" - which in itself is already questionable - and prices are not actually more interesting than compared to elsewhere online. I had to return 2 items in mid March and now, end of April, and 20 emails later, I still have only received a partial refund - negligence or incompetence I don't know, but definitely not a service that is in any way good.
