Excellent service, Simon was professional and kept us well informed at all times. The doors are well fitted and look superb. Will use Lyme bay Bi folds again. Highly recommend.

We wanted to open up our kitchen. We knew of Simon through a contact and right from the start we received a professional and competent service. We wanted two sets and Simon advised us on the best system to suit our needs. The doors arrived on time, Simon fitted them expertly and extremely proficiently with no problems at all. Thoroughly recommend this company.
2nd replacement Bifold installation for the same job an on going nightmare.
Taken a year, still not satisfactory or completed with drafts, poor seals which keep popping out and water egress. No damproof course, had to be redone, still totally unsatisfactory.
Company director installer. Service extremely poor and threats to withdraw from resolution unless sign non disclosure agreement.
Bifold seals keep popping out when doors opened.
Fensa certificates now revoked on both installation of new and resolution replacement Bifolds.
23rd march 2021 still waiting for response to fix other than 'no refund' for Bifolds costing just shy of £4,000 without the structural opening charge. Seals and stiff door handles, hole left in reveals, cut thru by Lyme Bay Bifolds. Building regs not prepared to sign off the Bifold installation. 'The structural opening with a fensa registered bifold door.'Fensa revoked both certificates issued by Lyme Bay Bifold. The company used video footage to try and renew their fensa installers certification on the installation that had to be redone, with new window sizes ordered. In my view are still unsatisfactory and poor fitting. Still waiting for the Bifolds of my dreams that were promised. Extremely disappointed after second attempt.

The reason solicitors are involved is because we aren’t at fault here. Other trades were responsible for different parts of this project. At Lyme Bay Bifolds we rectify any problems as quickly as possible. We won’t, however, rectify problems caused by other trades that are not ours to fix. Fensa certificates are only given for replacement doors and windows, not when structural work has taken place. Your project had structural work, which is why building control signed it off instead. Your guarantee is still in place and if there is a problem with the door we will fix it for you.
Very pleased all round. We were recommended to use Lyme Bay Bifolds by a friend and were impressed from the very outset. The planning, installation and aftercare have been first class and we are really happy with the final product and finish.

Took our time to choose the correct doors and done our research before we approached any companies. Lyme Bay Bifolds was one of two companies we did contact. Simon's attention and product knowledge and reliability was spot on and he guided us through the options which we had already researched so we felt confident he knew his stuff. We then asked to see some of his work which he was happy to do and showed us a completed job in Lyme Regis. We would happily let anyone view our new bifolds if required and will be using them again on our new extension in 2021. Top job thank you.

Communication first class from enquiry to installation and after. Top quality doors - we paid a bit more for integrated blinds and the top range doors having bought cheaper ones before that failed. Very happy with our purchase.
