M1 is a great all in one finance platform
M1 is a great all in one finance platform. The Owners Rewards credit card puts the cash back rewards to be invested right back into the market, and the cash account gets 1% interest. It's great to be able to consolidate so many different financial products and tools onto a single platform.

Terrible customer service and not helpful to anyone with disabilities…
Terrible customer service and literally worst experience with any financial institution ever. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. You money is safer in the hands of a robber than these folks. As you see below (and shoot I wish I read these before I put money there), they are not a respectable company with integrity. They are the opposite. Greedy and disappointing. Especially to people with disabilities.

Love the automation the tool provides
Love the automation the tool provides, the idea of portfolios as pies and that it does not encourage me to constantly use the app (like Robinhood)

Enjoying the app but needs to improve
I’m really enjoying the app. The UI is beautiful and straightforward. I’ve enjoyed the free year of the plus membership, but now I’m reconsidering if I want to continue using it. Some perks I can understand wanting to charge extra for, but 2 in particular I’d liked moved to the basic level going forward. I understand the purpose of M1 using certain windows, but this should really be offered at some level cash balance in an account. 25-50K in an account should allow me to buy and sell twice a day. Also, I think the custodial accounts should be free as well. Because of the lack of these perks, I’m half way out the door to take my business to Fidelity and let my accounts grow there.

Great from Day-One !!!!
From Day One, I have greatly enjoyed M1's services. I have actually moved all of my accounts (some I had to sell and move the money) over to M1. My biggest reasoning was the Borrow. I do not want to deal with Credit cards or banks for loans and M1Borrow makes everything easier.
Making changes to portfolios, adding accounts, investigating stocks, etfs, etc. is very easy.
Only issue, if you can call it that, is they offer morning and afternoon trades. You can choose either, but not both in a given day.
Coming from other brokers (12), this has been the easiest and most fun broker that I have dealt with. Great Job :)

Better perks for m1 plus
I enjoy M1. However, I do think the spend interest rate should be increased to make M1 plus worth it, or drop the $125 for M1 plus, or make perks better for m1 plus like no trade windows, better credit card 2% cash back. It seems the only competitive perk of m1 plus is barrow rate but I do not use barrow and other places checking rates are now getting more competitive. I do not think I will be renewing M1 plus unless price of it comes down or spend rate increases.

A very good app
A very good app. Until the fundamentals change or I notice something else that doesn’t seem like it’s benefit me continuing to use it I’ll choose another company Services.

M1 credit card can leave you stranded
I really like Plus, Spend, and Invest. However you have failed to fully implement the credit card system. The missing factor is a 7x24 help either in person or automated to authorize a visa rejected purchase. I do not have an issue with fraud control but being unable to contact support outside of US banking hours can leave you totally stranded if you are attempting to pay with the M1 credit card. If anyone is actually reading this feedback I would appreciate a confirmation.

Would love it if you offered a 2…
Would love it if you offered a 2 Percent minimum reward on all credit card purchases. Then I could only use the M 1 card. 125$ for M1 plus is too much for what I use it for. Probably not going to renew. I also think the afternoon window should be open to everyone.

Very poor customer service.
Even after repeated promise, I was given no update on my reported suspicious transactions.
The voice prompt doesn't understand my ascent at all.

Everything is great
Everything is great, but I would like to see an option to add cash at stores. Like cash app does. This would also be a way to make money for the company by charging a dollar or two for each cash load. And a round up feature on purchases to go into your investment account would be great.

Experience and product are exceptional
Experience and product are exceptional. There are plenty of functionality -- that are simple to opt in, or to not use.
When I had an issue, they were quick to respond and very personable.

It would be nice to have a dividend tracker, just to see
in a graph form with pretty colors the monthly increase or decrease! Otherwise, all is well for me. God bless!

Good but needs work on the transfer rules
Good, but nor great. The rules for smart transfers need work so they don’t contradict the minimum cash one can allocate before investing in the invest accounts.
Right now, this cash allocation overrides the smart transfer rules. It needs to be turned off entirely when the rules are in effect.
Basics of m1 finance are working out…
Basics of m1 finance are working out great for me. I just have few concerns
1. Fees - There are platforms that now offer fractional shares with no fees. M1 should learn from that and make fees reasonable for everyone.
2. APR - The rate for premium customers need to be more lucrative. It's simply not enough! There are platforms that started offering better rates already.
3. UI - Although your user interface is quite unique it fails to do many basic things - eg. Current year performance, distinction between time and money weighted performance etc.

A strange concept of paperless
M1 finds it hard to understand what paperless is. M1 agrees to make my account paperless, but then every time they issue a paperless communication they send me a snail mail paper letter telling me that there is a paperless communication waiting for me to view. L O L.
