Great product, fast shipping, excellent customer service and lovely people in the local stores.

I bought a long pair of PNS cycling tights at Maats.cc in the Netherlands at the end of February. After barely two rides, I already noticed that some fibers around the chamois area of the tights were starting to fray. After about ten rides, the damage in that same spot had become quite severe. It’s beyond repair. After just a month and a half, the tights look as if I’ve been using them for five years.

I emailed both Maats.cc and PNS, but of course received no response. I’ve ordered from these shops before, and this is how a returning customer is treated. Definitely not recommended — but I guess you already figured that out.

Maats.cc sent me a PM explaining that the fraying is somewhat normal and will disappear on its own. From the message they sent me, I gather that they are aware of this issue, so it would seem fairer to me if they announced this on their website. It’s obviously not their fault that PNS clothing is not very abrasion‑resistant. They did offer me a 30 percent discount on the purchase of a next product. Since I don’t believe the fraying will stop at some point, and because I’m quite principled, I won’t be taking them up on that offer, neither I will buy their stuff again in the future.

Extremely slow dispatch and very slow delivery. Maats claimed a 3–5 working day delivery, but it took 12 days, so I was out of the country when it arrived.

To make matters worse, I had ordered a paid-for item for a PNS jacket a week earlier, and it took Maats a full week after payment to inform me that it was not in stock.

They canceled my Order after almost 2 Weeks of having my Money, but they promised me before that I will get it when I called to ask why it takes so long. Very unpleasant experience overall.
