The salesman/salesperson

Have gone through all the details with me, even though I was planning to purchase the Item from a Big retail store in the UK ( it start with the letter C). They have been patience with even though I have asked many questions. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase with
MACROMART.

Purchased an Oppo N5 fold from Amazon Australia, the phone was posted to an Australian address. When the package was opened the charger was for a different country.
I contacted them and they sent an
Adaptor which was the wrong one.
After a couple of messages back and forth they told me they sell phones and not adaptors and charges. I then contacted Amazon customer service and they fixed this problem for me. The phone was good but the customer service from the seller was terrible.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been the most stressful shopping experience of my life.

The situation:

The DPD driver had two parcels for me—one from Macromart (a phone) and one containing my medication (which requires a pin). He mixed them up - marking the phone as delivered but and put 'return to sender' for the medication. When I returned home, there was only the medication.

I have concrete, physical proof of this mix-up, which Macromart refuses to look at:

My neighbour has sent me a voice note, which I shared with Macromart confirming that the driver asked her for a PIN and when she didn't have it, he left one box and left with the other.

The tracking for my medication says "Returned to Sender." This is false. I am literally holding the medication package in my hands right now. I have the packaging with the tracking number on it.

If DPD's system says I don't have the parcel I do have, then it's obvious the system is wrong about the parcel I don't have.

A reasonable company would look at this evidence - especially the fact that I’m holding a "returned" parcel—and call DPD to launch an investigation.

Macromart? They have been hostile from the start. They accused me of lying. They told me my explanation "couldn't happen" (despite the physical box in my hand proving it did). Instead of helping, they tried to intimidate me with threats of police and legal action.

I have even told them multiple times to block the IMEI because I don't have it.

They refused. They don't want to solve the problem; they just want to keep my money and bully me into silence.

I’ve done all the work for them. I’ve contacted DPD (who were useless). I’ve gathered the tracking proofs. Macromart has simply stonewalled me.

Do not trust this company. If their courier makes a mistake, they will blame you, threaten you, and leave you out of pocket.

Pleasant experience shopping at Macromart. Easy check out process. Staff were attentive and explaining the delay in dispatching item. Delivery was fast and realible (within 3 days). Item is from the UK, genuine, new and factory sealed. I'm satisfied with my purchase with Macromart.

Good customer support, fast shipping

Buying anything from overseas can be a real PITA when you don't know what to expect from extra fees. This was super clear and there were no surprises. Good job UK ;)
