Great products, hyperactive marketing

The array of products are great, and the build quality of most are pretty good. I recently restocked my sewing studio through several Madame Sew sales seen online on Instagram, probably about $300 worth of product.

I had to unsubscribe from their emails and block them because of their relentless email marketing.

Order Incomplete

I have ordered many items and been very satisfied. This time however, I ordered from a page that showed a bundle of 3 large quilt storage bags for $42.99.
I received 1 bag for that price. 1 bag does not charge that much.
I called spoke to Tessa, explained the issue. She insists I ordered 1 bag for that excessive price. I asked for return information, which she sent. The return cost $9.80, we will see if they refund my money.
I wish they would have agreed to send me the other 3 bags.
I AM GOING TO BLOCK THEM AND I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. I AM INFORMING MY QUILT SEWING GROUP, MY GUILD, ETC.
I am very disappointed.

the carry all sewing organizer…

I bought the carry all sewing organizer bag and it is nothing more than a notebook. The inside zippered pockets are so tight to put anything in and out. The whole organizer feels so flimsy and cheap but yet it was very expensive in price. Would not advise to purchase this item.

The worst customer service ever

The worst customer service ever! Supposedly my order was delivered however I cannot find it - I've checked my mailbox, my apartment complex office and neighbors - the package was not delivered to me and Tessa won't do a darn thing about it. They just keep telling me to check places the mailperson may have left it. This is absolutely unacceptable and I will NEVER purchase anything from this company again. I will shout it from the rooftops at every quilting class I am in to let other sewists know that this is not a good company to purchase from.

I ordered the red sew organizer with the matching red inserts. And I ordered the 12 pack plastic insert to put into s seperate binder.
I did not get the matching red inserts.
I have told them to send the matching red inserts or give me a refund.
I got neither.
Don't buy from this place.
Go to temu, Ali, or amazon.
I went to temu and got a purple set with the matching inserts that mademn sew said did not exist.

Madam Sew Bad Customer Service

The company Madam Sew is by far the worst company I have ever seen, there is no customer service. Real people do not respond back to emails as all there emails back are AI generated and you do not know it is a AI generated at all. I will never buy again from this place as it was a waste of time and money

Overall decent items, but LOUSY customer service if you have a problem.

Overall, the items I received were of decent quality. However 2 of the items I ordered were defective. In one, there was corrosion on the magnetic seam guide, in the other, the seam guide for the walking foot would not stay in place. When I contacted the company first by email, I have received nothing but stalling tactics in response. I included descriptions, a photo and a short video, yet keep getting responses like "Please tell us what make and model your sewing machine is" (which is not at all relevant) or, after 3 previous emails describing the problem "May I know further information about the damaged item, please?" More than the descriptions, photo and video??

I tried the live chat on the website. They were responsive, explaining that they do not do exchanges. When I copied and pasted the exact info from their website stating that they DO do exchanges for defective products, the live chat agent ceased responding to me.

If you review their return policies carefully, you will see that if you did try to return something, it is entirely possible that you would pay to ship it back, and that they can then refuse to process a refund (according to their policies) at which point you are out both the item you bought (because now they have it) AND the shipping you just paid.

So the items are decent, but don't expect them to replace anything defective nor necessary allow a return. Some of the worst return policies I've seen (I'd rather a place just say they won't accept returns.)

I have ordered their marking pens for a long time. The color white is the worst one and it is the one I use the most. Recently I bought a new box of pens and I couldn’t get the cap off my husband even had difficulties. I have been trying to reach Madam Sew for four days and no response. The email address won’t work how can a problem be resolved without communication? I have had to throw away more white pens than I care to count. I have lost money on this product but I love it when it works.

Disappointed in the pins

I bought the flower pins and presser foot pad from Madam Sew. I like the pad but not the pins. I would give the pad 5 stars but the pins 2 stars. The pins are not sharp and they are too wide for my embroidery hoop.

I was so excited to find variegated Isacord quilting thread which I have not seen anywhere else. I purchased a walking foot that worked perfectly on my Bernette and a couple of chalk markers that have been very hard to find.

Love, Love, Love Madam Sew

I started with the quilt bag. Then I fell in love with all the tools and started buying them. The presser feet are so useful. I use the green measure for setting the magnetic seam guide all the time. I usually buy two of things and give the extra one to my youngest daughter. I just can't say enough about this company. But I would like to see more new products. Oh, and one more item I've bought almost half a dozen of the stick-on light string for my sewing machines.

My go-to sewing shop …

While researching for quilting supplies two years ago, I came across Madam Sew and it has become my go to shop for all of my quilting needs. In fact, most of the products that I have purchased are clever tools/aids that I didn’t know I needed until I saw it on their website! When I have contacted their customer service, their response is quick and professional. Their prices are reasonable and the quality has always been excellent. I highly recommend Madam Sew for your sewing needs!
