Conflicting and Constantly Changing Policies
After 5 years they still keep changing the rules to qualify. And denied previous guidelines. To a point they suggest they will give me Extended Payment Plan as a one-time courtesy; when in fact I had the payment plan 6 times;and they called it installments, but now EPP. Customer service, 1 of many departments, don't listen to what you are saying , they keep repeating themselves; and speak poor englih.

Hi Sherman, thanks for the review. We need to explain a bit how the extended payment plan works: any customer can be eligible for an EPP if their 2 previous loans fall within a 63-day period. It is fairly common that customers fall out and back in the EPP rule from time to time - that happens because of how their payday schedule is set up. If you have any questions about it, we're more than happy to discuss over the phone or via email. Oh, and sometimes we may call the EPP "installments", because you are, in fact, paying your loan in installments instead of a single payment (which is the standard). TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION
So I am updating my review today because of the horrendous communication from these people!
I go on the website this morning to pay off my current loan and then go through the new application to find out I can't submit my banking information.
I call and speak to someone in customer service. I am then told that magical credit is no longer offering loans to residents of alberta.
My jaw dropped as I realized I was just screwed over on the money I sent.
Magical credit NEVER sent out any notifications to me via email or text stating these changes. I am now out $171.00 because magical credit once again changed policies without notifying clients.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
