Magnilink Universal Chargers Reviews 

Recently bought a bundle. consisting of 5 Magnilink Ultra cables with multi-headed magnetic cable adaptors plus a high speed universal charger (in total in excess of £50).
The items were delivered speedily and well packaged from China, each individual item looked quite impressive, especially the cables.
However, after trying 2 of the 5 cables, and fiddling with the magnetic connectors, a slight problem......they simply don't work.
The charger works, but as I had to use a 'normal' non high speed cable it charged my mobile phone no faster than any other charger.
To say I am disappointed would be a major understatement, £55 for what largely consists of junk is lunacy. Magnilink needs to sort out this issue or they will most definitely lose reputation and customers.

Very good charger. I’ve been using it exclusively for all my charging and being able to angle it is the best. I’ve been recommending it to everyone. Great buy.

The magnets are very weak. If you move your cord while the phone is plugged in, it'll break connection. Magnalink contacted me to ask me how they can make it right. I asked for a refund. Never heard back from them about my refund or anything for that matter. I DO NOT recommend Magnalink.

The only problem with this cable is that the magnilink is only on one end. My autistic son has to keep his tablet plugged in at all times and the swivel on the magnilink end is great, however the other end twisted so much that it has already broke.

It works better than expected

I'm very satisfied with the quality and the functionality of the product.

Order was quick and easy. Everything arrives fast with good tracking. this is probably the 5th order of mine getting various cable lenghts and tons of adapters so I can charge phones, game controllers, Raspberry Pi's, anything and everything I don't want damaged if a cable gets pulled on unexpectedly. I have them in the car, at work, and all over my home. PERFECT for protecting my Quest 3.

The cable stopped working as intended it went from fast charging to snail speed charging taking 3+ hours to charge. Would not recommend it's seems like it was a waste of money.

Charger lasted a week and then stopped working. I was told it would be replaced, but have never heard anything back. All talk, no action.

It arrived in a reasonable time and the pivoting head makes my phone much happier.

The website says this product will transfer data and works with Apple Carplay. I plugged it into my van and got no data connection. I emailed support and got no response.

None of the x3 chargers with attachments charge my samsung mobile phone.

The charger cord i got is amazing, the 240w one that curves, anyway i have a s24 ultra and it works amazing on it, I recommended this company to my friends who are also looking for a good company within the power cord market, you guys are legends and I hope you keep making more products because I'll happily buy from you again.

So I purchased these cables for a variety of reasons. Most notably, my 2 kids who have a bad habit of forgetting to unplug before walking away with their iPad. One potentially serious issue I've discovered is that BOTH of my kids iPads have had the charging port die. Luckily this is covered under the general warranty and they were both replaced. They are the newest model (11 I think) and had used the Magnilink cables from the moment they were purchased. That said, I also use the same cables on my older iPhone (SE version, about 4~5 years old) and my own iPad which is about 2 years old. Neither of my devices have experienced any damage. So evidence is inconclusive if the damage was related to these cables or not. I only bring it up because, had it not been a covered item the "repair" is to replace the iPad. Another, less important issue is that sometimes they will not charge when connected. Reconnecting and swiveling the cable will usually resolve the issue although it can take many attempts.

Ordered two of the Magnilink Ultra's for my kids school Chromebooks. The way the Chromebook sits in the case makes it hard to get the USB-C cable in and then there is pressure on it pushing upward from the case. Not wanting the USB-C to bend or break, this looked like a great option. Got them in and setup, and they worked like a charm.

Fast forward two months, and I find a small oval circuit board looking piece with pins on the floor. Took me a few minutes and realized it was about the size and shape of the Magnilink. I checked both chargers, and sure enough my son's was hooked up, but not charging. I took it off, noticed where the piece went, put it back in and it started working again. A week later, he tells me his Chromebook didn't charge overnight, I look and the piece is out and missing.

I took a picture, messaged Magnilink, and in less than a minute the team had a warranty replacement ordered and I had an email confirmation. LESS THAN A MINUTE! Talk about customer service!! It's always great when things don't break, but when they do, it makes life much easier when the company stands behind their product. Thanks Magnilink!

Overall these charging cords are a good product. I have an older phone that I had to retire because the charge port doesn't properly hold the charging cord anymore, these cords actually stay in place.

This is a fantastic product especially for people who are struggling with dexterity - like my husband who is living with MND.

Required parts for my older chargers. Now able to use again with these connectors.

Solid construction. Like the swivel USB type C connector. Nice cable.
