Refusing Refund

Shipment got returned by DHL to them and they refuse to refund the amount i paid for the shipment.
Unacceptable!!

I can accept them keeping the extra processing fee due to doing work "twice" but refusing to refund the shipment cost is unacceptable!

Dear Mr. Neokleous,

Your shipment contained a type of battery prohibited for air transport. You have undertaken not to hand over such a shipment for transport. Since the carrier apparently discovered this error on an X-ray, he returned the shipment and does not refund postage in these cases. The sender did not even mark the shipment with a security label so that we could detect this in advance. We inform you that these batteries cannot be transported in several places when selecting the transport you have chosen. I'm sorry, but I cannot accept your complaint.

My colleague offered you that we can return the shipment to the sender free of charge.

Shipped pc parts from DE to FI

Shipped pc parts from DE to FI.
Super simple and fast to setup. Process speed once package arrived to their warehouse was superb, no noticable delay from choosing stronger packaging option.
Can highly recommend, package arrived in good condition.
Very reasonable pricing.
If you need on time delivery maybe choose other carrier than UPS. In my case UPS screwed around multiple times and delayed the delivery by several days, Ofcourse this is outside of Mailboxde's responsibilities but just as FYI.

My Ideal Experience with Mailboxde: From Germany to Sweden with Speed and Ease

When I decided to try Mailboxde for the first time, I was excited to see how this service could simplify international shopping and reduce shipping costs for me. From the moment I signed up on the website, I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and straightforward the process was.

First, the website interface is intuitive and user-friendly. The instructions were very clear, making the registration and account setup process simple. I was amazed at how quickly my account was activated, allowing me to start using the service within minutes.

For my first purchase, I had my order sent to my new address in Germany. As soon as the package arrived at the Mailboxde warehouse, I received an immediate notification via email. The information provided was detailed, including a picture of the package and its weight, which reassured me that my package was in good hands.

Shipping the package from Germany to Sweden was an exceptional experience. One of the standout features of the service was the multiple shipping options available. Mailboxde assisted in Amazon sending wrong item

Mailboxde assisted and helped me resolve the problem with Amazon.de sending the wrong item. Due to fact that Amazon.de couldn't deliver to my home address, I used the service of Mailboxde.
When the package arrived to my home it contained item that was about 15 EUR value instead of 700 Eur value mobile phone.
After the initial sock I contacted Mailboxde to check what happened and their customer's service replied very fast and it was very helpful. Even if it wasn't their fault they have offered to return wrong package to Amazon.de and assistance that I really appreciated.
What I liked the most is their personal approach, giving extra effort to resolve the problem which wasn't their fault, providing explanation and even offering an compensation.
With Mailboxde I feel that my packages are safe

I've been using mailboxde since March 2023

I've been using mailboxde for about a year now (I signed up on March 2023) in order to receive ebay orders after some changes made to the German version of ebay and it heavily restricted delivery options outside Germany.
I have been nothing but happy with their service. Handling is quick and reliable, no issues so far with over 10k EUR worth of delivered packages made!

Fantastic service I could recommend to anyone

Excellent service. Quick customer support, payment (when using paypal), and delivery.

I live in Croatia so I used Mailboxde for forwarding ordered PC parts from Germany because it's much cheaper than just buying everything in my native country. For context, I ordered PC components for an entire build (9 items in total) from amazon.de and Mindfactory, and that saved me about ~600 euros in total even with the shipping costs.

For the service itself, I was happy to see how quick everything was done. I'd be notified through email that the packages arrived at the warehouse on the same or the following day of their shipment. Consolidation (an option that allows you to put multiple packages into a single bigger one) took 30 minutes to get processed, and it later only took a day for my 2 consolidated packages to get sent for delivery to my home address. Any questions I had sent the customer support would be answered within a day or two.

I picked GLS as my carrier, and as promised on Mailboxde's site, it took 3 business days for everything to arrive at my apartment in proper packaging and without damage - from Friday to Tuesday morning.

I can't say I'm not too shocked at their reliability. Everyone online on the forums I browsed and my IRL colleagues who had used this service held it in high regard. It's nice to see my experience wasn't any different. Although, I'll say I'm a bit surprised they ended up shipping my 27" monitor, too, since LCD screens over 21 inches are on their list of "Prohibited Goods" they'll refuse to send. Perhaps some goodwill on their end, or just luck on mine? Hard to tell, but either way, I'm glad this exception happened.

In conclusion, I can 100% recommend Mailboxde to anyone looking to order stuff from Germany. Of course, you should always research a service no matter how positive its reception is. But do let an endless sea of positive reviews that my own contributes to play a nice reassurance in your mind that, even if something goes wrong, Mailboxde will be eager to sort everything out with you as soon as possible. They're not scummy or shady.

Absolute recommendation

I use Mailbox.de for years now. Its super smooth, fast, reliable and well priced experience. If there ever was a problem (e.g. customs, or repacking my package into 2 smaller ones...) they resolved it instantly!

The speed is amazin

The company is great, however...

The company is great for what it provides: forwarding mail service with a specified number of providers for export. It has a prompt and expeditionary service.

What it lacks, doesn't want, or won't provide is more shipping options (doesn't allow DHL Express or FedEx which have bases from Leipzig and Cologne respectively), won't allow you to ship oversized, bulky cartons containing electrical or goods which are large in size, although they are self-contained in a carton. It somewhat reflects an inflexible or strict company in terms of policy. There are also other shipping forwarders such as White Rabbit Japan or Vyking Ship from US that will allow such products to be sent, as long as it isn't deem illegal for transportation and for the final destination. Makes sense since freight shipping companies can take all kinds of goods.
