Been a customer for many years now. Always there in an emergency. Sometimes you have to understand when someone else's emergency comes first! But great service, very professional, good advice and they always leaves things imaculate - very clean and tidy.

The Engineer must have run out of black sheathing and therefore ended up using white for part of the installation. He did not tell me, whilst I could have provided him with some if he had. He also forgot to carry out a modification to the route that had been discussed for the pipework.
Credit to this company who returned twice to address issues that I had with this work. Further credit because, having paid immediately on completion of the work, I did not have the leverage, that an unpaid bill might have given me.

Mains Gas service my central heating gas boiler every year and have also undertaken minor heating repairs. I have always been entirely happy with their work and the booking, admin and communications. Highly recommended!

I needed to get valves fitted to some radiators and as Mains Gas had very good reviews on both Google Maps and Trustpilot, I asked for a price. I couldn't believe it when the quotation sent was £900! Suffice to say I went elsewhere and had the job done for a fraction of the price.
I didn't request a powerflush and I made it clear that we already had the radiator valves and they just needed fitting.

I had mains gas out to service and fix my boiler . And would definitely have them out again they were polite . Professional . Knew what they were doing . Clean . Tidy. And fixed the problem to . Did great service on the boiler and have water and heating again thank you mains gas for doing great job. Very happy 5star worth it

. I have used Mains Gas several times before and have found them to be excellent. Customer service is fantastic, polite helpful staff who go over and above to ensure you receive an excellent customer service with courtesy calls.

On this occasion, my central heating had broken down. The engineer who attended was called Nathan. I can’t speak highly enough of him. He identified the problem immediately, There was a tap that had been leaking in the bathroom for some considerable duration. The system was therefore producing hot water and not central heating. Once the leaking tap had been stopped, the central heating was back up and running. I was very impressed with how quickly Nathan identified the problem and how quickly he fixed it. In addition, he was a very polite and courteous man who arrived promptly in the timescale provided. He is a credit to the company. It’s this type of service that makes you recommend them to others and use them again

I rate my experience of Mains Gas as excellent. Their customer service is fantastic and their engineers are skilled and knowledgeable.

Before we ordered the tank and boiler from Mains Gas, Sam and Cath in the office were extremely helpful and answered all of our queries in an efficient and professional manner however trivial they may have been. When it came to installation, Tristan, Cian and Lee were incredibly polite, courteous, punctual and very, very hardworking and overcame all setbacks professionally and with good grace. The boys were a pleasure to have around and we would recommend them to anyone.

We recently had Mains Gas in Brecon install a new boiler for us, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, their service was top notch. The team was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and efficient, completing the installation in record time!

Super efficient and professional service

Had a new boiler and some alterations to my heating system. Everything was great. Professional and pleasant engineers and office staff. A real treat to work with a local company of exceptional quality.

Our boiler wouldn't work after we'd been away for a couple of nights. We called in to see them, they recognised us when we walked into the shop and said they'd look at it within a couple of hours. They remembered we'd booked with them to have a new boiler in July, so we didn't want to spend too much on the repair.

The engineer found that the fan was seized and he freed it, oiled it and said it should be OK until the new boiler is fitted, as we couldn't be without heating and hot water for 2½ months. He explained everything to us very clearly and the service provided was excellent.

How refreshing to have a professional gas fitting service in Brecon! You phone, a pleasant person answers without undue delay, you describe the problem and, either immediately or after a few hours, a date and time for an engineers visit is arranged. Either the appointment is kept or the office contacts you well in advance to arrange another time. Our LPG boiler problem was identifierd and rectified without a hitch. Billing is prompt and itemised. Why can’t more local businesses be run as efficiently? We have subsequently engaged Mains Gas to replace a radiator in our house.
