Majority Homerton HiFi System

We recently bought a Majority Homerton HiFi system, and are extremely pleased with it. The sound is excellent and the equipment is easy to use. Internet radio stations are easily found. We had a couple of queries and the technical department replied very quickly.

Majority - Litle Shelford Portable Digital Radio

I bought a Majority portable DAB radio about a month ago, from Lidl.
What a wonderful little radio. The tone is good and reception is brilliant which cannot be said for all of the DAB radios we have.
Very good price, a very good radio and a very happy radio listener.

A year on, so far so good

I bought 3 Majority mp3 players for my children. A year on and they've served them well. Recently one of them developed a fault - Majority support were quick to offer help and fix the problem.

Majority Pembroke Internet Radio

I have a Majority Pembroke Internet Radio. It won't boot, and I know exactly what's wrong with it.

The firmware is corrupted, and needs to be reloaded.

The company refuses to send it to me/a link to it.

They also don't offer a repair service.

I've replaced it with a different brand.

The company replied, but clearly didn't read my post properly:

1. I asked for "firmware", not a "firmware update"
2. I've already disposed of the radio, and bought something else.

I'm not going to get into a protracted argument with you about this. However, I had already worked out how to manually flash the firmware.

You wrote "If the radio had been reported to our Technical Support team while still in your possession, they would have been more than happy to check warranty eligibility and explore available support options in line with our warranty terms."

Sigh. I was in touch.

For this radio model, firmware files cannot be provided directly to customers, either for reinstallation or as a firmware update. This model does not support manual firmware loading. When firmware updates are available and applicable, they are sent directly to the radio itself and installed by following the on-screen, prompted instructions. For this reason, we are unable to supply firmware files or download links. This is due to the design and update method of the product, rather than a refusal to assist. If the radio had been reported to our Technical Support team while still in your possession, they would have been more than happy to check warranty eligibility and explore available support options in line with our warranty terms. Customers can do this by contacting Technical Support directly with proof of purchase. In your specific case, it appears there is nothing more that can be done since the radio has been disposed of. We are sorry that this experience did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate your feedback. Best regards, Team Majority

Reduce Electronic Waste with Great Support, Blade and tape.

When my ancient Majority radio went quiet I wasn’t ready to lose my faithful friend. I know it so well I can do everything in the dark.
After countless years, the user manual was easy to find on the Majority website.
I broke the cord coming out of the transformer making it difficult to rejoin.
Majority would have happily replaced it but it was even easier and quicker to repair. The user manual confirmed the radio needing 5Volts dc,1Amp =5Watts. That means a USB could safely replace the transformer.
I spliced the power lead to a USB lead using a blade and electrical tape. 10 minutes later my faithful Majority radio came back to life.
I was so happy, I emailed Majority tech support. They confirmed my fix and acknowledged my suggestion to use USB connections.
When you’re buying electronic equipment, it’s important to know after sales support will be there if you need it.
Making even ancient Majority electronics easy to repair, reduces waste and means they’re even better value for money.
Well done, Majority Audio.
I’m proud to buy British.

Helpful and Knowledgeable Tech Assistance

contacted regarding audio problems on Samsung tv / soundbar. Responded quickly with suggestions of how to rectify , when these solutions failed offered additional ideas on how to proceed which corrected the problem . Very pleased with prompt and helpful assistance that I received from Majority Audio

Thankyou Majority

Thankyou Majority! I love the Fitzwilliam. Short story, i am recently disabled due to an accident so struggle with using my body. I love music as my degree is in music and played guitar in bands up to my accident. I bring this up as the Fitzwilliam is incredibly simple to use for me with fantastic sound used through optical. If it's a bad day for me it's on all day with plenty of choice and spotify. My other room is a full audiophile set up with turntable but it's easier for me to stay in one room and use Fitzwilliam. As you can appreciate with paying for care at home this is an incredible affordable choice and worth every penny. Sorry about rant but thought worth mentioning how good I feel this device is for sound and ease in my physical boundaries.

EXCELLENT PRODUCTS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

I purchased a Majority DAB+/Radio from amazon in March this year. A few days ago it developed a fault with the volume control and I emailed Majority customer services for advice. I received a very fast reply recommending I try a quick fix before processing the matter further. I did as they said and it worked a treat and everything is working fine. We've got two Majority systems in our household and are very pleased with them - they look good and sound great. I thoroughly recommend this Company - excellent products and really good customer service.

Outstanding Tech Support - fantastic products

I was looking to upgrade the speakers on my TV and decided to get some D70X.

A tech support team member (Andreea) not only helped me set them up properly, but went above and beyond (sending video instructions for my TV model) to help me get them started. Even when it didn't work out the first or even second time, she kept coming up with new ideas and solutions and never lost her patience. The response times were super quick as well.

The sound of the speakers is pretty good, but the support was even better. 6/5 ⭐️

​I am incredibly happy with Majority Sound Systems' customer service! I contacted them about replacing a broken remote, and even though it was out of stock for a few months, they didn't forget my request. True to their word, they followed up and sent me the new remote. Small but mighty

My Eddington radio is excellent in terms of the quality of sound and number of stations it receives. After four years of reliable service, it started behaving erratically. Customer service was easy to find and responded promptly. After following their advice, the radio is now working normally (thank you Josh).

Low coast Soundbar

Soundbar of modest size, not bulky, the sound is good. Of course we don't expect a top of the range, but if you have televisions with mediocre speakers this soundbar makes the difference.
If you have a new generation TV you must have the optical cable that is not included. The installation is simple, just follow the instructions.

Majority Fitzwilliam 5 Star Customer Support

I have used a Majority Fitzwilliam tuner since 2019, mainly for Internet radio. It has been a great addition to my sound system. Recently I have had an issue that I couldn't resolve, so I contacted Majority for support. I was amazed that my query was replied to in four (4) minutes, with step by step instructions to hopefully resolve my issue.
Once completed, the unit is back to normal. Both product and customer support are 5 star, many big brands could learn from Majority.
