I purchased a Microsoft Office 2019 license key through a Student Beans offer fulfilled by Major Rocket LLC (Launching Deals / Offer Redemption). Upon activation, Microsoft's Activation Wizard immediately returned an error stating the product key was not valid and had been blocked.

Microsoft's own support page confirms that this error means the key is permanently non-functional and is consistent with stolen or fraudulently obtained licenses. I contacted the seller by email requesting a refund and received no response. I had to file a PayPal dispute to recover my $22.88.

PayPal issued a full refund, which tells you everything about how legitimate this seller is. Do not purchase software license keys from this company. Buy directly from Microsoft or an authorized retailer.

They never resolved this. Trying to figure out how to get a refund. Never would give me a refund.

If I could give Major Rocket doing business as Launchingdeals.com anything lower than one star I would. The sold me a lifetime license for Office 2021 in 2023. I recently needed to reinstall and discovered by License was invalid. According to Microsoft they sold me an MSDN key that was subsequently retired.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! EVER! I ordered the Microsoft office 2021 and paid $78.22 via PayPal. They sent a confirmation email of the sale and then a separate email with a link to download the purchase. When I clicked on the link, it took me to a scam page with popups informing me that "my computer had been locked", "a Trojan had been installed" and requesting that I call "apple support" - thankfully, I am tech savvy and knew immediately it was a scam. I filed a complaint with PayPal and the money was returned. Incidentally, my computer wasn't locked, no trojan was installed, and the "apple support" number was fake.

It doesn't end there! The following day, I received an email from PayPal to confirm the money had been returned and TWO MINUTES LATER! I received a scam alert from PayPal to say that someone was requesting $599 for Expedia. and TWO MINUTES LATER! an email from MISSY B at Major Rocket LLC apologizing, offering to help and send me another product key for the software. Yeah, like that's going to happen! I've been trying to find company registration details, company directors, telephone numbers, who registered the website....strangely, there's no information available. I wonder why? AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
