Slipping into this swimsuit makes me feel like an absolute Goddess. The fit is snug in all the right ways, the fabric is luxuriously high quality, and it dries in a flash. Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Refused to answer where the suit was shipping from. When I tried to cancel it before it shipped. They refused. Tried to get dhl to return the suit and the owner refused to accept the return to sender. Suit arrived and it’s of terrible quality it’s white and will certainly be absolutely see through.

Can't express the LOVE I'm feeling for my Makara Luna Long Sleeve swimsuit. E-mail conversations went smoothly, shipping fast. Since the day it arrived, I couldn't wait to start wearing it during my above exploration- and underwater photography -sessions. It was a perfect fit and a match made in heaven. Return policy scam and poor quality
Their return policy is just an absolute scam, after asking for a return as the item received was of poor quality revealing what shouldn’t be revealed especially for swim wear due to thin and cheap fabric, they claimed the item was on sale and therefore not refundable. This was absolutely shocking as I bought the item clearly not on sale and they just offer smartly a discount code which is applicable to the whole product line and automatically turns every item into a sale item on checkout. Smart and dangerous for customers who pay a huge amount in advance counting on the option to return or exchange items when they don’t fit. The shipping was claimed to be express, the item was only received after over two weeks with the cheapest Indonesian delivery service even though I had to pay express delivery for 500k. The swimsuit is not even easy to resell now due to it's transparent and revealing quality; what a joke.

I do NOT recommend doing any business with this company. it deserves 0 stars. Horrible customer service. read the fine print before ordering. It you use any promo code, coupon or the item is on sale, it becomes a final sale. They didn't honor my Black Friday 30% off after saying they would and then deleting the chat. Stay away from this place!!

Below you'll read their "policy" on how they process orders...I placed an order on the 12th before noon; now 8 days later, the 20th, I still have no tracking number or confirmation of shipping. I just requested a full refund as I have lost trust in the company. I also paid $40 for DHL shipping although the pricing they indicate below (on their website) indicates its a lower cost. ---- I requested $140 refund - I'll update here after the refund process- depending how that goes.
Orders are processed Monday-Friday and shipped the following business day.
Please allow 24-52 hours for processing orders and to receive tracking number/ confirmation of order shipment.

***I'll post the actual correspondence from their CS team. They said they shipped the item after I had to chase them for a response - days later they finally sent me a shipping number, indicating they had just shipped it today. At least they shipped something - I hope but I'm sure the quality of the swimsuit will match the quality of their service, POOR; after all cats dont make dogs.
Now they're reaching out to me asking that I remove this post and they'll offer me a "credit" for my next purchase. They're laughable, this process has been so unpleasant I would NEVER buy from them again.
I would not recommend buying from them as it feels like a scam, the entire process... (after paying of course) if I ever receive a bathing suit I'm sure it will be of cheap quality as I've read from other disappointed customers.. the company fails to follow the basic policies they set for themselves. BUYER BEWARE.

They are not as sustainable as they…
They are not as sustainable as they claim to be. I placed an order from Europe, was going to reject the delivery as I had to pay 50% of the additional fees for importing goods (usually VAT is around 20%). Contacted Makara customer support, they say I CANNOT get refund/exchange since I used a promo code. They say once the returned goods will be back to Indonesia, they can ship again. However, there will be additional customs to be paid at the Indonesia side. Meanwhile, I contacted the delivery company in Europe, Makara wear have already instructed them to destroy the package.
As for product quality, the material is good. For the fit 2 items out of 4 are good, 2 are kinda awkward.

I purchased a Luna long sleeve in black…
I purchased a Luna long sleeve in black 2 years ago and I’m completely inlove with it. The style and fit is great but the quality is even better. Being constantly in the water I needed something that wouldn’t wear down and this swimsuit is it. After two years of wear it’s still in perfect condition. 10/10 recommend.

absolutely in LOVE
I ordered two Long Sleeve Tops (Vida and Jupiter) and the Long Sleeve Classic Swimwear and am totally in love with my purchases.
I first got the Vida Top in S and it´s a bit tight at the collar, but as soon as you are in the water it is not bothering me anymore.
For my second purchase I asked customer service for sizing recommendations and ordered the other two items in M and they fit me perfectly! I can´t wait to try them out in the water!
The quality is just immaculate and and the feel of the fabric is quite luxurious. I believe my new swimwaer pieces will be with me for many years to come :)
Also - I love Makara´s pledge for sustainability.
And the cutomer service is just wonderful - the best I´ve ever received. A big shout-out here to Janie, who was an absolute GEM!!

I love the color of the suit I got (royal blue). The material is also super soft and comfy! I had to get it tailored a bit bc there was some extra material in the stomach area, but I’m also just a short person. I got it for my next surf trip to Mexico. So excited to try it out!
