Hamper delivered and well received by recipient.
Had to reschedule as the recipient was out and missed the delivery. Was rescheduled easily enough and delivered the next day but a top tip would be to always include a 'safe place' if you know that the person receiving the hamper might be out for a short time.

We’ve checked into this and can confirm that DPD delivered the order on Saturday instead of Monday. It looks like they were trying to provide a better service by delivering earlier than scheduled — but we completely understand that, with gift orders, timing is everything.

Delivered to the wrong address
I ordered a hamper as a surprise for my son on his 30th birthday. The delivery came to me ( the sender) and not to my son. The driver told me he was familiar with my area, but not my son's, so he was delivering the parcel to me instead. Thank goodness he called me just before the delivery, as he also had the wrong address for me and would have delivered it to the wrong house. At that point I was just eager to get the deliery in case it went astray, and give it to my son myself. So much for the surprise!

Having looked into your order, it appears that the postcode provided at checkout was incorrect. As a result, the delivery driver made a judgment call to deliver the parcel to the address linked to that postcode, rather than return it to the depot.
