I ordered a health supplement from Makeup.dk. What they sent contained exactly half of what I'd ordered and paid for. (I did not realize this until I'd opened one of three bottles, in part because the label was in Polish.) When I discovered this, I asked them to send the remaining half (which I'd paid for). They refused, and said all I could do was send the unopened bottles back and get 2/3 of the money back. A lot of trouble for me, when it was their mistake, and even then it wouldn't make up for my loss. This is probably against EU regulations. Don't order from these people!
Their response (below) suggests that "it all turned out okay." It didn't. I never received the product I paid for at the price they advertised (which I paid). They reimbursed about half of the difference, after a number of emails. I still believe they did not comply with EU regulations.

On June 23, 2023, I placed an order with makeup.dk, expecting the delivery to arrive by June 26, 2023. However, upon reviewing the address details, I noticed something peculiar. Despite the website's domain being "makeup.dk," the address provided did not correspond to a Danish location.

Concerned about the legitimacy of my purchase, I decided to contact makeup.dk's customer service for clarification and requested a tracking number. To my surprise, the representative I spoke with immediately addressed me by my full name without requesting any form of identification or order reference. I expressed my concerns regarding the lack of communication about my order and requested the tracking number. The representative assured me that she would promptly send it via email. However, during the call, she took an unusually long time to send the email, and ultimately, I never received it. It was during this conversation that I discovered makeup.dk is actually based in Poland.

Following this interaction, I waited for approximately 20 minutes but received no email. Consequently, I contacted makeup.dk's customer service again, and this time, I was asked for my order number and personal details, which is a standard verification process. The new representative promptly provided me with a tracking number, which I immediately checked on DAO's website. However, I discovered that the tracking number provided did not yield any results, and no information was available for that number. Consequently, I promptly requested the cancellation of my order and a refund.

I was informed by makeup.dk's customer service that they would cancel the order, and I should expect a refund within 3 to 7 days.
Until now I havent recibe the refound with the excuse that DAO hasnt return back the package (consider that DAO has never recibe the package)
It is a scam company trying to target people living in Denmark.
It has become apparent that this company is not serious at all to say the least. The use of the .dk in their url even when they are in Poland make it even more suspicious and show that they are specifically targeting individuals residing in Denmark.

They advertise unrealistic delivery timelines. You pay for 2-3 day delivery on the 3rd day the order has not even been shipped yet.

Update:
Product was delivered after 11 days, it spilled all over the package. I was offered a discount of 5 dkk from next order.

Conclusion: stay away at all costs

I ordered on 27th June different product no order number nothing is recived how can I track my order and how I can get inforamtion. I wrote an email but no answer. Highly disappionted.

I dont know if it is scam or what I need either products or my money back.

I made an order 2nd of May (a Tuesday), and it is listed on their website that the delivery chosen (DAO) will take 2-4 days. I received an e-mail when I ordered stating it would be delivered 8th of May. Today is the 8th of May and the tracking number shows that it has not even been shipped. So I called DAO who, could see in their system, that Makeup.dk had not even sent them the package yet! So I called makeup.dk, who says they dispatched it on the 2nd of May, but clearly, they have not. I am very disappointed in this and should have read the reviews before ordering myself.

I have ordered a perfume and it arrived within 2 days. Fast and easy delivery, as well as great overall experience.

After 2 weeks I try again with order something on the website, I need Have order minimum 599 kr. I can’t add screenshot Here. So what is your solution for this? Specifics please.

As many other people commented in this website - I ordered an item 1 week ago, the money was charged already before items arrived (which some say it is illegal), I have not received anything and, what´s even worse, is that no one replies to my emails.
Will never shop again!

I placed an order on the 5th of the Feb.
Today is the 17th and I have not received my order.
When I followed it up about 3 days ago, they told me they will write to the delivery company about this which is DAO, I called Dao the same they and they told me that never received the physical parcel and they could easily see it in their system.
I wait to hear from makeup.dk and now they returned to me writing that DAO is responsible and needs to pay back to me.
My order cost about 1000 DKK and they prefer to play stupid instead of coming up with the correct solution.
Instead of making a call and following up to refund me very soon, they claim that the delivery company is responsible.

Unfortunately, since you parcel was dispatched from our warehouse on 07.02 but it has not been scanned by the Dao company, we can assume that it was during transportation.

Therefore we will raise a claim with the delivery company and issue a full amount refund for you.

Yes the products might be cheap, and ok compared to the price, but saying you will have you package in 2-3 business days is just a lie. Always taken almost a week before i have my stuff from them.

I ordered a product on the 13th December that was on offer, to use when my then product ran out.

I opened it mid January, the item was faulty and didn't dispense product rendering it unusable.

Customer service was very slow to get back.
No replacement or refund was offered as it passed the 14 day period, which the customer services person refused to try remedy the situation.
I sent a video showing the fault.

This is ridiculous especially in the month of December where people buy Christmas gifts more than 14 days before they will be gifted making returns/refunds not possible.

Based on my experience, and that Makeup now will loose a customer over a meager 200kr shows how they don't value their customer base, I can't recommend.
I wasted 200kr, and Makeup refuse to fix the situation.

I ordered OPI nail laquer thinner 10.1.2023 and it arrived in good time on 18.1.2023. I was home when the parcel arrived and the box looked in perfect condition. I opened it immediately and notice that the laquer thinner was a little less than half empty. I took a photo and sent an email immediately to the company. They replied the next day asking for a photo of the packing material, the label on the box and the half empty bottle. I sent them everything, though by that time I had blacked out my information on the box because I had placed it in the recycling. The box was in good condition and the paper used for padding was dry and without stains. I have to conclude that the thinner was placed half empty in the box.

After some more emails I receive an update that they're still processing my complaint on 22.1.2023. Since that email I've not received a reply, I've requested an update on 27.1.2023 but still nothing.

Considering you can get the same product for cheaper on other Danish sites I would suggest you look past makeup.dk and find a shop with better customer service that won't send you used products.

EDIT1: I received a last email on 2.2.2023 asking me to take a photo of the thinner on a scale to prove the weight. I replied that I've already sent them a photo with a clear liquid line showing the bottle was almost half empty. Makeup.dk has dragged out my claim to an irrational standard, they know they made a mistake and have all the photos possibly necessary but I don't have faith that they will resolve the issue. I'm stuck with half a product and a bad experience from makeup.dk

EDIT3: I receive an email on 9.2.2023 with a return label, no mention if I will get a refund or a new product. Just instructions to send back the item.

EDIT4: Received an email on 16.02.2023 saying they received the return parcel and will refund me the 126,- for the product. I receive the refund on 20.02.2023, 40 days after I placed my order and 33 days after I first contacted them about their mistake. I've never wasted so much of time over a company's bad customer service.

I hope this review helps others avoid a similar experience.

Tracking er dog ikke optimalt. Selvom der var et link til tracking (dao.as), var der ingen tracknummer. Så jeg var stadigt nervøs for, at det var et fupfirma, indtil pakken lå på min trappe.

Kommunikation:
Jeg havde skrevet i kommentar til produkt, at jeg ønskede at produktet blev pakket ind. Det så og hørte jeg aldrig noget til.
I mailen angående at varen var afsendt, stod der at varen og en gave var på vej. Dog ingen gave at finde.

Varen var billig, fin og i original indpakning :)

Dog tror jeg, at firmaet er engelsk talerne, da det står i forhold til kontakt, kundeservice. Tror de derfor oversætter det danske til engelsk, f.eks. mails. Dette skaber jo ikke altid en korrekt oversættelse.

Ordered the item on Friday and received it on Tuesday night. Perfect :)
However, tracking is not optimal. Although there was a link to tracking (dao.as) but there was no tracknumber. So I was still nervous that it was a scam company until the package was on my steps.

Communication:
I had written in the product comment that I wanted the product wrapped. I never saw or heard anything about it.
In the email regarding the item being shipped, it said that the item and a gift were on their way. However, no gift to be found.

About the product:
The item was cheap, fin and in original packaging :)

Think it would benefit the company if they commented on the comments that were written in here. Both so that you can see that it is not a scam company, and that you are also seenand heard whether it is praise or criticism.
It will suit the company.
However, I think that the company is English speaking, as it says in relation to contact customer service. I think they therefore translate the Danish into English, e.g. emails. This does not always create a correct translation.

The best prices on the market, but extremely slow delivery. It took me 9 days to receive my parcel. Not a scam like others write. I was thinking about it too in the beginning. Just take into consideration that it can take up to 10 days to receive your products. I plan to order from them once again if the prices continue to be 30% less than what their closest competitor has.

It’s impossible to have a mail conversation, they don’t answer the phone as well. I placed a order on the 19/10, 2 days after the had withdrawn money from my account, and until today 29/10 I have not received anything…it stand 2-4 days delivery on their website. ( the money they have taken) got a automatic generated mail that they apologize. This is a dishonest company!! Don’t shop there!! It’s fake.
