I have been reselling hosting with…

I have been reselling hosting with makigohost for a few months now. working with them was not the worst experience but now my problem is that, they seem to no longer exist, their website is down together with my reseller hosting, meaning all my client websites are also down 4 days and counting, and there is no means of reaching out to them since their email is also not receiving emails. CAUTION! they could be a scam company, so be careful when buying from them.

Hi Jay,

Thank you for sharing your honest experience. We completely understand how stressful that downtime was, and we sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience it caused at the time. The issue was related to a temporary outage from datacenter, which has since been fully resolved.

We’re grateful that you chose to continue working with us, and we’re glad to have you still as part of the MakigoHost family. Your trust means a lot, and we remain committed to providing you with reliable service and support.

Warm regards,
The MakigoHost Team

Hello David Markovic,

We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for any confusion. Once your refund was initiated, an email was sent to you immediately and this same document was attached to the email. The refund was processed on January 29th, 2025, and you can view the proof of payment here:

Check proof of refund payment here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12gzSKr7tO4Rei3RmZ_PMrdXFl8ryAiXt/view?usp=sharing

Suppose you haven't seen the refund in your account yet. In that case, we recommend reaching out to your financial institution and Flutterwave directly, as they may have more information on the transaction status. They can assist with any issues related to processing delays

Once you ask for account cancellation, your account is terminated three days after your refund is processed. This refund request had nothing to do with the quality of our service but was due to the customer requesting he wouldn’t get the needed time to build and run his services.

If you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact us.
Best regards,

Makigohost.com is my new home

Makigohost.com is my new home! They have great customer service and that's the key. I've been with Godaddy since 2005 that's nearly 25 years. Like many companies that have grown to an insane level, they get too big and bloated and then their customer service goes way downhill. They have also gone way too far in monetizing their customers beyond acceptable levels. It seems I'm getting charged for every little thing. Don't get me wrong, adding services is great but when they start charging for Cpanel emails it's gone too far. More to the big issue, their customer support used to be great but now it's to a point when you call about a problem and they literally Google it and read it to you. I can do that! Nobody seems to know anything but how to send you to billing. Getting fed up with each terrible experience I have been thinking about moving all my sites which are quite a few and some very complex, to a new hosting company. The Makigohost.com customer service is great. It's what Godaddy customer service used to be. I was having an issue with a script and the problem was not even theirs, it was not even their problem but they helped me with it anyway and spent hours solving this problem, they never gave up. I worked mainly with Mike. Mike seems to know his product extremely well. The key to "GREAT" customer service compared to good customer service is problem-solving and tenacity, not giving up until it's solved. Godaddy would have given up after the second reply to the ticket but they did not. So myself, I'm going to start moving over some of my sites and hopefully end up with all of them there. I've been a software engineer since 1984 and I can tell you I know what to look for and makigohost is truly the best! - Tim
