Bad seating for price

Really enjoyed show, great experience.. but not happy where we were seated.
We paid middle price tickets but we're put right at the back in the corner.. where the waiting staff put all the dirty glasses.
There were 2 tiers in front of us, lower down and feel we should have been seated there. .. not happy did complain but told not height of tier but what we could see. Nonsense!! Everyone could see well in Taverna.
Great show though .

Waste if money

Where do I start? Had 6 tier B seats. The brief says “ some moments of the show may require guests to turn around to see the action”. Two of our party had a fantastic view of the fire escape where there was no action. And no amount of turning in your seat allowed any view, Only two members of our party could actually see what was going on(table 32). Our first drinks took 40 minutes and three requests before they finally arrived. They bought the wrong wine which we had opened, pored and tasted as it was dark before realising. They did exchange it for the correct wine, taking away all the pored glasses and informed us that it would not be wasted as they would sell it by the glass to others - serious health issue there. The music was ok, no idea what the show was about though as couldn’t see! Staff were rude and unfriendly, but probably over worked. We waited to purchase merchandise for 10 to 15 minutes and were told rudely by a couple of members of staff that the server would be back shortly. Eventually another member of staff came and realised he was bent over double in his chair having a nap! They kindly woke him up for us 😂. Food was ok but not worth the extortionate cost. Don’t waste your money on this show.

Mamma Mia the party

As a 64 year old guy who's a massive ABBA fan I always wanted to go see Mamma Mia the party but had reservations about it being a 'girlie event' if you know what I mean. Anyway I actually made it for yesterdays matinee, Sunday 24th Aug and wondered what I was worried about! My wife and I and everyone were made to feel so welcome, and, WHAT A SHOW! There was so much going on we didn't know where to look next throughout the whole performance. The cast and staff were brilliant. As we're from a catering background, the amount of sheer hard work that goes into getting the food right and out on time was very much appreciated. The view can be a bit restricted but that doesn't take away from the atmosphere which was electric. Yes, it seems expensive, but when you take into account the colossal amount of work that goes into the whole production, we thought it was worth every penny. Would recommend everyone tries it even if only for the party atmosphere. Truly a real feel good event. 10 out of 10, and congratulations to everyone involved.

Not worth the money

Very very pricey for what's provided. Storyline was weak. No view of the 'stage' from tier A seats.
Food was good. Tables squeezed in. No dance floor. The after show 'disco' was 20-30min dancing by your table. Not impressed at all

Mamma Mia the party

We treated my husband’s sister to this show for her 70th birthday. It really didn’t disappoint. It was amazing from start to finish and everything flowed beautifully. The food was amazing (so were the jugs of passion fruit martini)! Performers were spectacular and the staff very friendly and polite (nothing was too much trouble). We really loved Jack our personal waiter. He was very welcoming, polite and very funny, he made our experience really special and memorable. We all want to come back again. Well done for all the hard work and amazing performance food and drink. FANTASTIC. FANTASTIC, FANTASTIC!!!

Once in a lifetime experience ❤️

We had the most incredible time at MamaMia the party!

The food was great, the drinks were delicious and the show was beautifully done. The sing and dance along at the end was great fun! ❤️

We went as a family of 6 and all enjoyed it.

Huge shout out to our waitress Amelia. She was so attentive and remembered our order so she knew what to get when we wanted more drinks. Thank you for working so hard and looking after us.

Really disappointed

Really disappointed
We were on the mezzanine floor level . Didn't have a good view as pillars in the way . Food was dreadful . After eating the “lamb” casserole I had to go straight to the toilet . 2 other people in our party had trouble later.
We were on a table of 6 , we were 4 and 2 strangers . When the food came out the two had the same portion sizes as the four of us . The food was warm .
Expected more ABBA songs . The adverts make it look more interactive , it wasn’t . I will say the place was decorated well for the theme .

People so crammed in like you wouldn't…

People so crammed in like you wouldn't even begin to imagine. Literally unable to move. Staff stated that people complain all the time and it is embarrassing but nothing they can do as managers won't allow them to do anything. Spoke with a rude and aggressive manager. Having seen reviews I will not waste my time with this company but will instead take them to small claims court to obtain a refund. Being able to sit down at a table is an expectation of what you are purchasing so I will be making a claim for breach of contract. Do not waste your money and if you have been ripped off take them to small claims court as they are in breach of contract. If they won't listen to customers they will have to listen to a judge who will adjudicate!

completely brilliant…

I thought it was completely brilliant and great fun. The show was a real spectacle with all the performers being amazing.
The staff were hugely accommodating annd the service excellent. Jamie Anderson, our waiter, made the day. He was incredibly attentive and kind, and nothing was too much trouble.
I also enjoyed the food and thought it was very good considering the numbers of people being catered for.

Had a very fun night the performancers…

Had a very fun night the performancers were great, food was good and we had an absolute sweetheart of a waitress called Ella from Northern Ireland who was absolutely ran off her feet.
Only 2 down sides;
One was either they didn't have enough staff working or they hadn't distributed the staff evenly as service was quite slow and we were waiting quite a while for our drink orders to come each time we ordered.
Two is it is a bit over priced for what it is and unfortunately we were apparently upgraded and put in a VIP section but our view was then obstructed by 2 large pillars.

Utterly disappointing

£230 per ticket. I was desperate to enjoy this show. We’ve been waiting a year to go. I’m not expecting the world but I expect a decent evening when I pay £230 per ticket.

Food was sub-par, bland and lack of flavour (except the red pepper hummus).
Paid £48 for a cocktail jug and it must have had half a measure of alcohol in the whole thing. Just pure sugary syrups. Couldn’t follow the story line whatsoever (not sure if due to sound quality or just that there was no storyline). The random golden death eaters was the cherry on top of an already confusing show.

Venue was absolutely beautiful but space for seating was poor.

Security guards stood around starring at people and tables for absolutely no reason, was also quite intimidating and uncomfortable.

Considering what we had paid and the lack of service/quality we asked for the hefty service charge to be removed and were met with blunt angry faces.

Should have gone back to Abba Voyage for half the prices and grabbed a McDonald’s on the way out 😂

2 stars given purely for how lovely the venue was decorated

Fantastic

The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic! I’d particularly like to praise our waiter Jamie, he looked after us impeccably and took care I didn’t eat any food that had dairy in it.. I’m a wheelchair user and was positioned in a great spot.. all the staff were friendly and happy and the atmosphere was fantastic.. I did get a little overwhelmed at the end, but Jamie took us out the back way to avoid me battling through everyone in my wheelchair.. 100% would and have recommended to friends 😍

No sense of commercialism

We spent over £1000 for four of us, purchasing tier A/VIP/platinum tickets three months in advance. However, the day before the show, we were informed that we had no choice but to downgrade our platinum tickets; otherwise, we wouldn’t be seated together. While we accepted this, we requested a refund for the £27 difference, but were told, “as per the terms you agreed to, a refund is not possible.” I was taken aback. I then asked if we could receive a voucher for drinks instead, but was met with a flat “we cannot provide vouchers.” We were essentially left with the option of being separated for the evening or accepting the downgrade without any refund. Naturally, we chose the downgrade.
We ended up spending £25 on a few drinks, and when I politely inquired if we might receive them for free due to the downgrade, the manager arrived and, with her tone and arrogance, upset my kids to the point of tears. It was quite frustrating! The food was average as well.

Happy and sad

. Last Friday I came with 7 family members to Mamma mia the party. We got tickets on tier C, tables 87 and 88 and we knew about the restricted view. What we did not know was that a part of the group on table 88 would have no view at all. The table was in the corner behind a balcony and it was not possible to see anything at all. The food was certainly good and the music was great, but it was a big disappointment not being able to see what was going on, especially since we flew all the way from Iceland to enjoy our selves and listen to our favorite band for decades. This was certainly a big disappointment. The table we sat at should have been a flower arrangement.

Can not book Access ticket

I am trying to book 4 tickets including one Access ticket for this show.
There is no longer a facility to book Access online as the website has changed in the past week.
The website gives an e mail address and telephone number.
I have rang at least a dozen times and left messages on answerphone and also sent 6 e mails...No response from either!
I dont think this company wants nor deserves the custom!!

Don’t waste your money!

Me and my family travelled far down to London to attend this, we were held outside the venue for over an hour after the show was due to start meaning we missed our drinks reservation afterwards. We were then shoved on a table right next to where the waiters emptied the dirty food so all we could hear the whole time was that noise. I also couldn’t get out from my chair many times due to the staff being behind me so couldn’t get up and dance like everyone else or even go to the toilet. My mum is a coeliac and her meals came much later than ours, the rest of our table had completely finished eating when her starter and main only just arrived. Her pudding was then left on the tray at the side where the waiters started to empty other people’s dirty pots and food meaning her pudding then became fully of dirty food. She then told the staff she hadn’t had her pudding still and the show had restarted, they then tried to give her the pudding from the dirty tray and didn’t apologise. We tried to tell the staff during the show but nothing was done until right at the end we were offered a new table. We complained to customer services and it took weeks to even get a reply back and all they offered was our service charge back on drinks. Absolutely ridiculous customer service and staff during the show! So rude and complete waste of money with no care to listen to our concerns or part refund any of us. The show itself was nothing to do with Mamma Mia and didn’t really make sense. The whole thing was not as enjoyable as we hoped and I wouldn’t bother wasting your money.

I just really wouldn't bother

I just really wouldn't bother. It's far too expensive for what it is. My ticket was £230 and it was poor value for money. The show itself was well performed but the story line is nothing like Mama Mia. It's about some chef who burns her food and 2 other people falling in love. Some of the songs weren't even Abba songs. The food was average and mass produced, much like a conference center meal, and the cheapest wine was around £50 a bottle. So an average show, a below average meal and a bottle of wine cost me £280. I could have seen a top London show with premium seats and had a great meal in a great restaurant for less than that. Really disappointing. I wouldn't recommend.

Overpriced and rude staff

I attended this show as part of a hen do and I feel really let down by it. The room was beautiful but the show was just ok. The food was terrible. I felt really sorry for a table close by us as they were getting a really hard time from the staff. They hadn’t done anything wrong at all. The manager Aoife was so rude and intimidating to them I’m surprised they bothered staying. I feel the whole thing was so overpriced. I definitely won’t be recommending this to anyone.
