Twitter addicted system puppet wordle…
Twitter addicted system puppet wordle rodent s1mon p1ss sm1ith sat off on twitter jobless in Madrid, happily carrying on with life whilst his desperado clickbait tabloid failed hack colleagues are set to take the fall for his life of miscreant slander hack rodentry.
One of the worst news sites
One of the worst news sites, spoiled by toooooo many adverts that jump out and make it difficult to actually read any news story, you can tell the main priority of this organisation is advertising with news a long way down their list of priorities. Stopped buying the actual paper many years ago for similar reasons and lack of actual news stories.
I was going to write some constructive…
I was going to write some constructive criticism about this site but laughed when I saw their review rating.
My unhappiness with this site is simple.
They are so determined to deliver adverts that they forget that they are a news outlet.
So bad is their desire that as an iPad user it is almost impossible to read the “news” content as it is obliterated by adverts that cover the content.
This sort of website should remember that even though readers are forced to view a barrage of adverts I personally take no notice of them and I have never bought anything from an advert I have viewed.
The MEN should remember that we are their readers. Make it difficult for us to read the content and we won’t visit the site. No visitors make it less attractive to advertisers.
So MEN sort out your adverts for mobile users
Ethan Davies stalking local hobby…
Ethan Davies stalking local hobby bloggers on Twitter and recycling content and subject matter. Probably at the behest of a desperate Reach/Leech Media editor like Sarah Lester or Darren Thwaites. Truly pathetic. Pathetic 'journalism', pathetic people. A problem in the community. Shut this advertising revenue obsessed clickbait mess down.
Les Mis Liverpool Empire
Liverpool Empire
The most outstandingly wonderful version of Les Mis, in many a year. This was the 7th time I’ve seen it live; London, Broadway and several provincial theatres, and this performance was superb. Lighting, stage craft and singing, all exceeding my expectations, and I was lucky enough to see the “Dream Cast’ performance many years ago (Colm Wilkinson, Philip Quast, Lea Salonga and Michael Ball). This - truly - bears close scrutiny.
Javert was exquisite; as was Valjean. Many, many tears of sheer joy were produced through the simple genius of this performance. It matters not a jot whether or not you’ve seen it live before; just go and be spellbound.
An outstandingly magnificent performance.
Absolute utter garbage website whether…
Absolute utter garbage website whether you try the full version or the mobile version. I've just seen the home page with an article about an accident in Birmingham, I'm assuming it's Birmingham UK and not Alabama but it wouldn't surprise me if it is the latter. Impossible to navigate, jumps around, full of ads. I actually thought I was getting a migraine and had to look away. There's a few local neighbourhood websites that put this once great news source to shame. Not everybody in Manchester cares a hoot about "Corra", feeble acting, naff predictable story lines but the MEN pushes it far too much. I reckon it won't change and I shall give it a wide berth from now on.
Clickbait dross and mass banner spam…
Clickbait dross and mass banner spam advertising from desperate publisher 'Reach Media' a truly failed collective. Ex tabloid hack failed papp Smith needs to get off Twitter and get a job.
Possibly the saddest publication
Possibly the saddest publication, and staff, to ever exist. Ex Reach Media tabloid clickbait hack Simon Smith just sat off in Madrid with no job, but still using the MEN site as his website and retweeting their clickbait rubbish for his sad, desperate former colleagues when he's not even on the pay roll anymore, or in the UK. fake journalist desperados!!!!
Terrible over fussy jumpy web pages
Probably the worst newspaper website alongside the Daily Express for pop ups , dire click bait and a complete inability to read an article with the pages jumping about. Never mind the content. I couldn’t be bothered to read it…. Give it a big swerve.
Clickbait and lies
Clickbait and lies. By morons, for morons. Slander hack failed papps. We'll see Simon Smith in Madrid.
Absolutely the worst
Their website is just terrible. Full of sponsored click-bait fake stories such as "The Neighbors Laughed Until They Saw What He Dug, Now They Are Jealous" and pictures of celebrities who are now "unrecognizable" or someone sees a photo and suddenly wants to divorce, click to find out. I have legitimate interest in some of the actual news stories, and its clouded by their sponsorship.
Awful website…
Tried several time to read articles on the MEN website. Each time I find myself giving up after 20 seconds trying to navigate the incessant pop ups and finding myself constantly accidently hitting links to other sites. Does anyone actually manage to read anything on the site at all?
Absolute garbage!
Absolute garbage!
A once informative newspaper is now just a cheap, inaccurate rag that prides itself on updating the brain dead on Coronation Street story lines, glorifying criminal activity and headlining the most ridiculous, irrelevant nonsense.
Close it down.
Total 100% Garbage
Mindless drivel cobbled together off social media for consumption by half wits. Sad and pathetic excuse for journalism, the "writers" should be ashamed of them selves.
Appauling website can't read any…
Appauling website can't read any articles due to all the paid adverts. Absolute joke of a website/news outlet.
Mindless
Mindless, clickbait tabloid culture dross. Staff are just up themselves twitter addicts with no journalistic ability. Waste of paper. Shut it down, save the environment.
Would be a joke of a paper if it was half funny
The MEN used to be a half decent local paper when part of GMG. Nowadays it is clickbait of stories from all over, little in the form of local news and the website is unusable. Such a shame to see a local paper go so downhill, hopefully anyone who works there with a shred of talent and there's a few look to start their own media outlet with perhaps a subscription service for those willing and able to pay for actual journalistic content related to the Greater Manchester area.
This rag is a disgrace
This rag is a disgrace.
Corrie, Love Island, Googlebox and countless obsessions with z list none entities.
The final straw which has seen me uninstall the app 5 mins ago is a story about a 5 Yr old in SWANSEA who looks like a M&S mannequin.
Enough.
The Press Gang 80s TV cast could do better.
Gutter trash non-journalism, littered with typos and poor grammar.
A disgrace to the Northwest.
