Booked a Swedish massage and asked for medium pressure. Had this service countless times are other venues, but booked this company as they had a deal on. The masseuse was so rough, the massage was painful and my back was bruised and sore for days afterwards. During the massage she blamed knots and said I had an issue with my shoulder which I didn’t have- the only issue was how hard she was doing the massage. Felt like I’d been beaten up, not had a relaxing massage. Wouldn’t recommend or return and will go to my usual places next time.

Kelly gave me one of the best Swedish massages. She was very professional and caring, and she hit the right spots! I absolutely recommend her! Keep up the good work! Many thanks!

AVOID, AVOID AVOUD Horrific avoid Wowcher they'll just forward your messages and have a go at you for T's&C's. Stole the money without giving the massage even though booked and cancelled within hours, exceptionally rude manager and absolutely not worth the stress, several weeks in having to fight for refund, will not be using Wowcher or Manchester massage again!

Massage was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Alina was amazing. Big shout out to Lisa on reception, too she was so helpful when I arrived as I needed extra help. Will definitely recommend!!!

It’s unfortunate that Manchester Massage and Manchester Chiropractors allows its reputation to be damaged by the unprofessional behavior of its receptionist, Lisa. Many customers have reported her hostile attitude, yet the issue persists. Rather than providing good customer service, she seems more interested in arguing with customers—both in person and in response to reviews.

A business is only as strong as its customer service, and it’s disappointing to see a front-facing employee negatively impacting both customers and the hardworking staff. Based on past experiences, I expect this review will receive an argumentative response rather than any meaningful improvement.

Edit: I’d like to stress how inaccurate the responses are on this review are. I did not demand that I get a free massage, I asked because I was told by the receptionist that if I booked I would get this deal, which my friend did receive and I did not. The nasty attitude in responses is the exact reason I am leaving a review like this, because you are more interested in arguing than being kind and addressing the issue and are well prepared to attempt to make a customer of yours look like they are in the problem, when it is not. This has been reported by many people now aside myself and you really need to rethink the way you address customers. I’ve had a lot of massages with yourselves and never expected to be treated the way I have been.

Wow what an amazing find I've been here several times now and each time I have been blown away, the girls on reception are so friendly but the therapists are so talented, I am already planning my return.

I had an amazing massage with Kelly she talked me through the process of what she was going to do and made me feel at ease. I can't wait to book in again thanks so much!

I booked in for a sports massage with Anise, who I had done research on (since this was my first time) and so was hoping to have someone more experienced.

When I arrive, I’m not told of any changes to my booking, I’m just given someone else entirely, who wasn’t even an option to book with (so I know nothing of her or her experience).

I bring this up and say that I booked with Anise, and am met with a surprised look, as if they weren’t expecting me to say anything. Luckily for me, Anise overhears me saying this and says they’ll do a swap so she can work with me (like was agreed).

So anyway, she doesn’t do anything, and I’m left with the same woman that I didn’t book with, didn’t ask for, and have now asked to have instead of Anise.
It left what was supposed to be a relaxing experience, as one that had an air of awkward to it, all just because I wanted who I asked for. Who THEY asked me if I wanted!

Why would Anise agree to the swap (swap?! I booked her time!!!) and then not swap?

Why would they ask me who I/ you want, if they’re going to just completely overlook it anyway? Twice!
And with someone who wasn’t even an option I could research on the site…

Because this is my first time getting a sports massage, I have no bearing of reference to if my masseuse was actually any good, other than to say that I still have a lot of the pains I had prior to the massage, and despite asking for a focus on the lower back, it ended up feeling like it was ignored.

Fundamentally, if you’re going to ask someone who they want to work with, and they’re paying, don’t neglect their decision.

Because I don’t know how good Janet (I think her name was) actually was, and because she herself was nice, I will leave a star.

I hope you contact me offering a partial refund, or a rebooking with Anise, but I doubt it, as honestly, I believe this was a strategy of some kind to give me someone less experienced so you can make more money.

Horrible SCAM - booked through groupon and received a call the day before asking me if i can switch time from 10am to 11am as they would not be in. Got a call on the day at 10:07 asking if i was coming in after explaining what happened they refused to accept that i had received a call asking me to change the timing so it wasn’t my fault. Also refused to reschedule me in for another time or offer a refund. I have tried chasing through groupon but need a email from the centre confirming i did not receive the services and they are not responding to my email. Feel like i have been SCAMMED!

I woke up with a painful shoulder and booked a massage with Anisa. It was a long time since I had a Swedish massage and I forgot how good you feel afterward. Anisa was punctual and professional and offer led additional tips on stretching to avoid the small issue coming up again. I would highly recommend this venue and Anisa

I have been here multiple times now and often get their hot stone massage. I refuse to book elsewhere now

Haven't been able to come to Manchester Massage for quite a while, but booked this week and found everything just as good as I remembered it. Still the best place for massage that I have found, brilliant therapists and nice atmosphere. Just found that they are doing some beauty treatments now, so booked for a facial next week!

Booked a Deep tissue massage due to lower back pain and shoulder pain. Anisa carried out my massage, she made me feel comfortable and gave me so much advice. It had to be the most effective massage ive had.
I would 100% recommend and return

I had dermapen from Lola yesterday..she is lovely and friendly and did a great job she used good products on my face I feel like my skin is healing quickly .. would definitely recommend

This is my third (or fourth) visit to Manchester massage. Whenever I am in Manchester I make time for this appointment. Highly recommended. Lovely relaxing rooms, professional reception, punctual appointments and knowledgeable therapists.
