Laurie cooked for us on Saturday night, and it was excellent from start to finish.
This was repeat business after his Italian menu last year (his ravioli is exceptional), and he delivered again with a superb English menu. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour.
We had the meal in a holiday let, and everything worked seamlessly – great communication, relaxed but high-end service, and the kitchen left spotless.
Laurie is also personable and clearly passionate about what he does, which really adds to the experience.
Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be booking again.

It’s the little things that really make the difference!
Chef Laurie was fantastic. Six of us booked him for a big birthday celebration and he absolutely delivered. From the moment he arrived everything felt effortless. He was calm, organised and quietly got on with everything while we sat back with drinks in hand and enjoyed the evening.
The food was delicious, which we expected after reading the reviews but it’s the little touches that really stood out. He served each course beautifully, explained every dish so we understood what we were eating, and made us feel completely looked after. At one point he even cleared and polished our cutlery between courses without us noticing!
He treated us like kings and queens all evening and somehow left the kitchen immaculate. The whole experience felt relaxed, special and genuinely luxurious. Restaurant-quality dining but in the comfort of your own home. Highly recommend!

We hired Chef Laurie for my 30th birthday and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made!
From start to finish, the whole experience was incredible. The food was absolutely amazing — every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection.
Not only was the food outstanding, but Chef Laurie himself was fantastic. Professional, friendly, and so accommodating from the moment he arrived. He really made the whole evening feel really special and personal.
Now… we are a loud bunch of girls (especially when celebrating a 30th!), and he handled us brilliantly! He joined in with the fun, kept everything running smoothly, and made us feel completely relaxed while still delivering top-class service.
We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re thinking about hiring a private chef for a special occasion — do it. And definitely book Chef Laurie! It made the night unforgettable.

I booked Pasta Co for my partners birthday for 10 guests over the weekend and honestly couldn’t recommend them more!
As it was a special occasion I asked if I could have a personalised menu which was curated so perfectly for the evening and featured all of my partners favourite food.
The food was exceptional as well as the presentation which was exceptional. I need the recipes for everything it tasted so good!
Both super friendly, organised and great people. They also left the kitchen spotless so you don’t have to lift a finger.
If you’re looking for a private dining experience i would absolutely recommend Pasta Co

Nothing short of amazing!
I arranged Chef Laurie for my husband’s birthday and the entire experience was nothing short of amazing! The food was absolutely exquisite, every dish was beautifully presented, incredibly tasty, and clearly prepared with great skill and care. Each course was served seamlessly and perfectly timed, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the evening with our guests. I was sent wine pairing recommendations beforehand which complimented the food perfectly! Every single person commented on how amazing the food and experience was.
I would 100% recommend and will absolutely be booking again in the future.

This was our second booking with chef Laurie. Our first was in the summer with some very discerning guests who were really impressed with Laurie’s menus and I was impressed with the whole experience. We have booked private chefs several times in the past but Chef Laurie exceeded our expectations.’
So much so I booked him for my husband’s birthday for the six course tasting menu which was superb.
Two weeks ago, we were at Annabels in Berkeley Square in London. Boy George was the DJ and THE Robbie Williams was the Cabaret. It was incredible but the food at Annabels was dire! Compare this with the food we had tonight cooked by chef Laurie and the difference is unbelievable.
Chef Laurie is fabulous, the menu is innovative, Laurie is an absolute delight to have in your house, and the food delicious. My kitchen was left spotlessly clean and tidy.
As I said before, we have used private chefs in the past but in future we willl only book Laurie @pastacochefs.
I genuinely cannot recommend this company more highly.

Delicious dining in the Dales
We were away in the Dales with a large group for my husband's 50th birthday and Laurie cooked a 5 course meal for us which was delicious.
A real treat to be able to spend time talking and laughing together in the comfort of a cosy home and with class food. Each course was presented beautifully and we created our own wine flight to add to it as well.
A great experience and really made the occasion feel very special. Definitely keeping Laurie's details and family are looking to book again already for the next big birthday. Brilliant.

I’ve been following Laurie on instagram for a while and was so excited to finally have an excuse to book him for my mum’s 60th. Laurie was so responsive, and getting everything booked in was really easy.
We had the Bella Cibo menu and it was just soo good, like having your own private Michelin restaurant. He arrived on time, everything was cooked to perfection and looked gorgeous, and the kitchen was completely spotless afterwards. My mum absolutely loved it, and it was a really special night to celebrate her.

I discovered Chef Laurie on Instagram and started following him. We have used private chefs several times before and they have been good but I wouldn’t book any of them again.
I booked Chef Laurie for an Italian themed summer dinner party.
I chose a six course menu and Laurie was really accommodating because two guests had dietary issues so he substituted dishes for them.
Communication before the event was really good. Laurie always replied to any queries promptly.
He arrived on time and set everything up beautifully. It was a gorgeous summer evening and Laurie served us delicious canapés in the garden.
Dinner was absolutely superb and Laurie left my kitchen spotless.
He is polite and friendly without being intrusive, which a previous private chef had been.
Everyone commented how fabulous the food was and how likeable Laurie is.
I have re booked Laurie for my husband’s birthday in January and very much look forward to another fabulous private dining experience with Laurie.
