I really love the method! It works and they clearly know what they are doing! Very expensive but likely worth it if you can afford it.

Before starting this course, I thought that learning Mandarin would be impossible, or any language for that matter. I took 6 years of learning French and was maybe able to ask where the bathroom was, and that's it. However, this program has given me the tools to actually learnt eh language by giving me methods to help with memorization characters and make going step by step actually enjoyable, where I am going to continue to keep on the course to become fluent!

What I really appreciate is that the company has designed its course to help you get past hurdles in Chinese learning at every step, with the teachers gently guiding and supporting you through prompt replies on their community group.

The methods used here are very effective in boosting your reading, writing, pronunciation and memorization of Chinese. AND it's a lot of fun.

It takes persistance and some dedication on your part to make the best of this program. But that's true of anything in life that is worthwhile.

Thoroughly recommend this course to boost your Chinese quicky and effectively.

I just finished the first half of their MB lite program.
The quality of the course definitely deserves 5 stars, but I got very upset about their marketing attitude. My mailbox is spammed and unsubscribing is not respected. It almost made me quit this program, I just kept on because the course really is that good. Its a mystery to me how they dare to wrap this nugget in intrusive primitive marketing bullshit. I really hope that this is not the will of Luke and Phil.

In the challenge stage. Keeps my attention and interest.

I have so far completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the program and so far am very impressed by the method and quality of presentation and materials.

It took awhile to understand it, but I can understand why the method works more efficiently to learn.

This is the best and easiest way to learn Mandarin by Far. I've learnt so many characters easily and I can remember them all using their method without rote repition

Ive only gone up to phase 3 (the free part), but their method and explanations seem really well thought out and intuitive. The price tag is quite daunting, but its worked well as a method for me and id consider the full course if i could afford it.

This is truly an amazing way to remember the characters, tones and the meaning. I've tried rote memorization by writing characters over and over, but alas, they are soon forgotten. Hopefully, this method will help me remember the characters on a long term basis.

I can't believe I found this program
After the free month I have enough exposure to see that I can do this, and not have it be a drag. I knew I was going to sign up after the first week.

Their course is really well structured and also unusual, giving you different skills than you get in other courses, to help you to learn and remember words really remarkably quickly, whilst being really very (very) fun! The free introductory course teaches things that will be useful whether or not you decide to proceed with the full course - no reason not to give it a go!!!

I have been learning Chinese for about a year now and have always struggled to learn how to read / write characters. After spending countless hours writing words to memorize them, I stumbled upon the Hanzi movie method course. Within minutes I started to memorize words. It not only works but it is extremely fun and sometimes I laugh at the ridiculous movies I make up in my head. It has also helped me with my tones on words I could already speak.

I cannot thank the Mandarin Blueprint team enough for designing this course. It has been by far the best way for me to learn Hanzi.

Having learned mnemonic practices like links and memory palaces I was quick to pick the movie method up. After getting through Phase 1 I've learned the density of information you can pack into a single snapshot with the movie method has made learning Chinese into something effortless.

Over 25 years I have tried many other methods to learn the Chinese characters with only moderate success, but the Hanzi Movie Method works like no other. Now I can recall the correct tone instead of guessing and can distinguish between similar characters that used to confuse me. They have put a lot of work into this system and the results are great.

Just finished phase 1 of the MB lite lessons. First time using this method for learning Chinese and having fun with it. So fun that time just flies by. Really nice to have the transverse app which has nice features over anki for editing and other power features.

So impressively well made! From the pronunciation specifics to the word choices and teaching SPOKEN chinese. Thanks for the great course!

It's too early to tell how effective this method is going to be (it's only been a week for me - and I've learned ~40 characters), but one thing is undeniable: it's a lot of fun. It doesn't feel like work to create mnemonics for these characters and words and I'm actually looking forward to my learning session every day.

Great learning site for Mandarin. Probably one of the best out there. The Hanzi Movie Method is very effective! Phil and Luke and their team do an amazing job.

This course, combined with the traverse APP, is the best method for learning Chinese. And I’ve tried them all!
