I had my lease hire van collected 2…

I had my lease hire van collected 2 days ago.
I look after my vehicles very well.
There was not a mark on it.
Not even a scuff on the wheel trims.
But I made the mistake of leaving the guy alone for 2 minutes. When I came back he pointed out a scratch on the front bumper. I rubbed the scratch and it had clearly just been some. As pieces of the raised scratch fell away.
I washed it the day before and it had just been parked up.
I am only advertising you to not leave them alone

I am so sorry to hear about your experience, I can appreciate how that incident made you feel. Are you able to email our Customer Care Team sharing your vehicle registration number? (UKCA.Customercare@coxautoinc.com) We will investigate this matter on your behalf, as this is not the feedback I would expect about our service. Our Inspection Team are not incentivised to record damage, our approach is to list what we see, and let the software do the rest. Regarding accidental damage, if our Inspector does damage a vehicle, we would not charge you for that, we would pick up the cost to remedy. Please get in touch soon, so we can sort this for you.
