The Boss GA-FC is an almost essential companion product for my Katana 100 III amp. It is a robust and well made product. The only downside is that Boss’s documentation is quite opaque and I needed help from the Boss support team to understand how to use the Boss Tone Studio to program the switch functions. This was readily-forthcoming (thanks Braedon), but should not have been required.

The Boss GAFC GA Foot Controller really adds a lot of extra control when using my Boss Katana Amp in a live situation or just jamming at home. I got the best price when I ordered it from Manny's and it arrived super fast. Perfect !

This should come with the amp. The correct sticker should also come with the footswitch. Supposedly they came with the amp, but they were nowhere to be seen. Now I have to chase the stickers. Operation wise it's awesome, just not quite perfect in the execution.

This foot controller is very solidly built and it is very easy to use. I use it to switch from effects to normal speech so I don't have to ajust the settings every time and you can turn the harmony on and off as need be. You can also mute the whole system between srets. The foot controller also gives you functions that are not available with just the amp.
Definitely worth pairing with your Boss Katana to get the most out of the amp!
