Don’t buy from ManoMano

Don’t buy from ManoMano
I ordered a vanity unit for my new bathroom. My plumber said he wouldn’t fit it as the sink waste hole was off centre. ManoMano got the company they ordered it from to email me.
Total Discounts. Who knows who they are. Some emails call them NesHomes as well. They told me their tech guys said to fit it and it would be fine. I refused but they insisted. My plumber fitted it. It was so badly off centre it spoils the look of the beautiful basin and the whole unit. I sent email and many pictures. But to no avail. They have offered me a new basin or £50 refund. Not both. I already paid to have it fitted but if I have a replacement basin il have to pay for removal of faulty one and fitting of new basin. They won’t pay for it even though they said to get it fitted. What a Scam. All three company’s are Scammers.
ManoMano won’t even answer my emails at all.
I’ll fight this all the way. I’m not going to give up.
Please use a different company don’t get caught like me. Wish I’d read some of the reviews on this site first.

Not recommended. waste of time/WARNING!

Manomano is nothing but a middleman. Its a site scraper company. They have no stock. EVERY ITEM they offer can be found on the internet probably at lower prices. Its pointless, more expensive and unnecessarily complicated dealing with them.

Remember the motto - passing the buck. No one accepts responsibility, its always the other companies fault.

Your order is sold and shipped to you NOT by manomano ; thats merely a website name without substance, but by the actual seller supplier you don't know until you receive the merchandise.

Here's the warning. They advertise Returns Accepted . They dont advise is that returns are not free, YOU the buyer has to pay! Not like Amazon and the majority of suppliers which are free. Worse they offer a return shipping paid service , but using the same transporter they charge 20% more . Bad service trickery. I know I compared . Theyre untrustworthy, and you have no legal recours because they dont exists.

I had to return an item; a complex procedure because you have to deal with manomano AND the supplier , AND arrange transport yourself. Overall a time wasting nuisance. You will be bombarded with emails to arrange the refund from the supplier and manomano who don't seem to know what each is doing. Remember 'Passing the buck"? Today 12 days later I have not received any money, so am chasing manomano who I 'thought' iIwas dealing with and the actual seller in another country, both with different references. Its a massive waste of time.

Who would you complain to and chase when theres a problem?

My advice is not to deal with this mess. It will cause you problems and waste time . THERES NO BENEFIT IN ANY WAY.

*UPDATE:
They have a telephone contact. I'm relieved to report they very efficiently handled my complaint, resolving the problem.

Bad crap products

Bad crap products. Bought an office chair, looks great, but really badly designed, cheap rubbish, makes you feel like you are falling forwards, and wobbles. 3 of us tried it, horrible. They said I can return it, but have to pay return postage, no idea if I'll get a refund, luckily used PayPal, so hopefully they can help.

VidaXL TV Unit... awful!

I ordered a VidaXL TV unit from this company. It arrived yesterday and I cannot tell you what utter rubbish it is. I paid £162 for it and it is so cheap looking and flimsy that it is misshapen... and it wasn't from delivery as the packaging was fine. It was also covered in filthy wood dust as if it had been sitting in some warehouse for years. It looks nothing like the photos which describes it as being made with solid mango wood. It might be mango wood but it's thin and cheap and looks good enough for kindling for a fire. I am going to start the returns process and have emailed them to ask how to do this. I am unable to locate my order on their website and hope that this isn't a sign of bad customer service to come. I should have read the other reviews of this company before purchasing this. But I am the type of person. that will pursue it until I receive a refund. There are too many people being ripped off with inferior products nowadays.

Thought I would purchase a Hychika…

Thought I would purchase a Hychika Recipricating saw and placed my order. Received an email advising it shipped on 1st Nov and arrive on 3rd!! Above this message was a message saying will delivered between 6th and 8th.
I asked what day was correct and was then advised it had arrived.
I challenged this and was told it was definitely delivered check with my neighbour or any safe place but it had been delivered. I said delivery address was my works address and how Appalling this conflict of delivery dates was. I asked for details of who signed for and if photos were taken. No reply.
They asked me to complete a form and to provide two photographic IDs before they can start an investigation.
As I paid thru PayPal I put in a dispute and within a few days the supplier from China replied and wanted to get me another one - I thought ok let’s try it and told them to go ahead send me one but it must be here by the 5th Nov, he came back sayIng he couldn’t do it in that time slot so would refund me, funny how they can take ur money on day 1 but it would be 5 - 10 working days to appear in my PayPal account. The false email responses from their customer assistance was so scripted it was cringeworthy.

The Worst Customer Service.....EVER

Ordered a birthday gift for my grandson from (what I thought) was a UK company.
The item was seemingly shipped (from China) only after order was placed ( no UK stock!) and took weeks to arrive. When the order was eventually delivered the package contained a totally different product that was of no use to my grandson.
I sent the company an email with a copy of my order. They accepted that it was 100% their fault.......but declined to ship the correct item and pay return postage......and to top it off requested that I accept a partial refund and accept the unwanted item. Absolutely hopeless customer service. I will not use them again.

Sent a faulty item back nearly 2 weeks…

Sent a faulty item back nearly 2 weeks ago I have the full tracking details for it and Mano Mano will not refund me they saying that they need to contact the seller to process the refund. They are withholding my money they have had the item back I was promised a refund last week and still nothing! They won’t put us through to a manager either they saying there is no reason too they are rude won’t help at all!!!!

Unless you want TWO SOLID MONTHS of…

Unless you want TWO SOLID MONTHS of unrelenting grief, STAY CLEAR of this utter rip-off SCAM company.
DO NOT BELIEVE their "CONCRETE GUARANTEE" i.e. when you raise a complaint, if the seller fails to respond adequately within 7 working days you are entitled - unequivocally - to a FULL refund.
Put simply, they are utter LIARS without a shred of ethical decency or scruples; every time you are contacted it is by someone different, they pass the buck in rotation so you end up with a dozen or more people corresponding - I can prove this - I have EVERYTHING logged.
Especially avoid buying VidaXL 1M Raised Beds from them. I found these items more expensively on ManoMano and one of their staff encouraged me instead to purchase them from VidaXL at a cheaper price: I firmly believe their staff are in league with VidaXL as a third party, to aid them in sending (3 Weeks LATE I might add) huge bulk amounts of MOULDY wood abroad to unsuspecting UK buyers... They expected me to have a Forklift Truck at my one-bedroom bungalow to lift the goods off, and gave me only two options, either call back the delivery or I would have to help the driver unload. Didn't help that they had packed the wood on a 2m long pallet, it was too big for even the truck driver to manoeuvre onto his lowering platform, such was the stupidity of the way they had packed it; he had no choice but to cut the load open and pass me each of 36 enormously heavy, soaking wet and MOULDY packs - as someone with a Double Hernia condition this was no joke...Even the assembly instructions were MOULDY, THREE bags of essential screws missing and the Imbeciles cannot even count, they only sent ONE replacement bag- even that took 2 and a half weeks to come, then despite being recontacted, they only sent ONE bag again. Either no-one has ANY brains at VidaXL, or they just have selective hearing. Empty rhetoric again, you will hear multiple times, "We have received your e-mail and transferred it to our Escalations Department." Sounds important? it means NOTHING - NO ACTION AT ALL. If I had that email once, I had it 100 times, each from a different member of staff. For Gods sake DO NOT BUY FROM EITHER COMPANY unless you want to experience an UNMITIGATED living nightmare...
ManoMano's Concrete Guarantee ran out - I was promised a FULL refund of £1718, I even have it in WRITING - and rather than honour their promise, their staff have gone back on their word and now only offered to repay me the cost of the materials I had to buy. DISGUSTING EXPLOITATIVE BEHAVIOUR - DO NOT touch them with a BARGEPOLE!!!!!!!

Bit slow to start, but then service was fabulous.

Ordered a shed through this company, although at first the updates of delivery were very sparce, they did eventually pick them selves up and corresponded really well, again afterwards with more delays (not their fault) they offered an amount of oney refunded to me for inconvenience. Pleased with them and customer services, particularly Maria and Felix. Would buy from them again.

Just a warning if you buy anything from this site please make sure you check sellers return policy, When I ordered I did look but could not find anything on the sellers page,When I wanted to return was told it would cost 35.00 ,I argued there was no policy on their page got nowhere,This is the worst site I have ever purchased from ,Should come with a bloody warning ,No doubt someone will reply to this from Manomano just like last time,Its easy to read from a script,SCAM
