They sold lifetime licenses and then took them away. YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THESE GREEDY SCAMMERS TOO! Use OBS for free and be happy. No need to pay SCAMMERS!!!

I bought the basic license, tried it for 5 minutes and immediately wrote an email to support to receive a refund and cancel my account because it is not the product I was looking for. After 10 days I have not received a response from any support, last night I wrote another ticket. Terrible experience.

Absolute trash. Everything is behind a paywall, you're better off downloading a regular camera app. Because that's what this app is a glorified camera app

Don't pay money for this. A few years ago, it was cutting edge - but now? All the free apps do 90% of what ManyCam was good for and it's competitors that cost money are way better.

Also, they literally just change the terms of their licenses after you pay. It's literally illegal.

These Svengalis took my money and refused a refund the following day when it was discovered that it wasn't necessary. One day, and $79 later. I am disputing it with my CC company and alerting the NYS Attorneys General of their "business" practices.

I purchased a lifetime license for ManyCam's latest version in 2022, investing hundreds of dollars. Upon attempting to access my account recently, I was informed that I had ManyCam 7, which I do not recall ever using. The activation code provided was invalid, and despite reaching out to customer support multiple times, I received no assistance. As someone with a neurocognitive disorder, this situation has been particularly challenging. I provided previous addresses and current email information, as my primary email had been deactivated due to security issues. Despite this, I was unable to receive the product I paid for or a refund. I am seeking either access to the correct version of the software or a full refund.

Manycam new ownership rescinded the lifetime upgrades license granted when Customers bought this option. They could have just stopped selling new lifetime licenses, but instead they broke terms and trust with previous faithful Customers. They are no longer a trustworthy company or product.

Please read and take heed of all those bad reviews and save yourself from wasting your money (lots of it) and time!!

The company behind this product is a bunch of crooks and scammers doing bait and switch with their users all the time. You subscribe or buy licenses to never be able to actually use them as advertise. They will not get back to your emails, you will get no support of any kind. If (!) you are lucky, you will be able to file a dispute with your bank and get some of your money back.

They have also blocked user registration and any new posts on their support forum.

The moment you put in your credit card details, there is no way back for you. The moment you sign the agreement, you forfeit all your legal rights to dispute or request refunds, taking them to court is only possible in Montreal (yes you also agree to this), as well as they are free to change the terms of your service and its cost at any time, including increasing the price, invalidating your subscription 'just because' or limiting premium features or updates for something advertised as permanent/lifetime.

There is a class action suit currently being prepared against them by the largest US legal firm, and hundreds of affected legacy users are part of the claim.

Avoid at all costs.

I spent over $150 on manycam lifetime licenses, only go find out they are entirely invalid now after 3 years.

I've been using Manycam for years. I bought a lifetime license, and yes, it only applies to the version available at the time of purchase, not the latest one. Honestly, you don’t even need the newest version—it’s overloaded with unnecessary features. The older version is much more user-friendly. I teach online, and trust me, the old version will do the job perfectly for anyone.

I bought a license but cant use it. The app doensnt recognize my subscription. Support does not answer. Scam company. Do not buy.

I'd put ZERO stars if I could. A totally useless product if you do not have internet access. I wanted to record multi cameras, but 80% of the time, I do not have usable internet.... so I want to record, then post... Nope... can't be done, and have only used it twice... NO refunds... at all, not even a partial one. The are not worth the trouble. Go to Cinamaker, they are MUCH better (and also more expensive)... DO NOT BUY!!!

A HONEST yes you read well everything I say is real. Dishonest company from A to Z. They promise you lifetime updates with any version you buy and this is very clear, you can go and see on Internet Archive, they cheated afterwards whereas before no condition mentioned that version 7 only was Lifetime, very easy to prove for those who would like to take the case to court. What's more, an application that installs a sea... Patalk, which is a real bug, and a real pain to uninstall. Don't buy this crap, it's a company of thieves and liars, with software full of bugs. There's plenty of other software out there that does the same thing, so don't be fooled by this thieving company.

It completely broke my audio. I've checked my drivers to see if they need to be updated but no, they are fine. My audio was working until I installed this demon app then when I uninstalled it, it took my audio with it. I cannot complete my virtual interview because of this program. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!

I bought ManyCam Studio Lifetime subscription, but I wanted to upgrade to v8 - and ManyCam are not honouring it.

Already messaged the support mail 5 times but no one replied.

I am not only disappointed but also seriously contemplating taking legal action against Manycam. This company's complete disregard for their customers' trust and investment is nothing short of infuriating. I had believed that I was making a wise investment by opting for a lifetime license, only to be slapped in the face with broken promises and a worthless piece of software.
