The site is easy to use once I learned the ins and outs from your video tutorials and YouTube. Works reliably and delivers more engagement from me without me having to be tied to my phone.

It would be great if the app functioned the same way. Some key features I'd love is the ability to convert flows in the app and to view automations by keywords, etc. like I can on the web-based version.

Time saving, affordable, and making more sales!

Many chat makes it so easy and affordable to get digital products straight to the direct messages of my clients. My sales have increased and I am spending 1/3 of what I used to spend on email marketing. It is such a helpful piece of technology. I save HOURS of time that I would be spending sending DMs to clients!

I got banned permantly from instagram for spam. Even though their app is approved by meta, that doesn’t mean you can use it freely. Thousands of people commented the same word on my post and they all got the same DM response and Manychat got me banned.

It's a great tool but training needs improvement.

It's a great tool, but the education around it is really poor. Outdated content, not easy to understand. I'm only doing basic things because I can't figure out how to put together some (what I feel should be basic and popular) automations. I'm definitely not a novice when it comes to using software tools, nor an idiot, but the training videos just don't line up the dots enough. I like the Many Chat summit with insights from others using it but again, I find it very "this is what it can do and this is how it ramped up my business" but so little in the way of Step 1, Step 2, Step 3.. do this and set up the same system. As it's a new world for many, with strange concepts and ways of doing things, you really need to pretend you're an alien who's learning a new language and dumb everything down.

Sooo good! BUT

Sooo good! It's so helpful for my business. I saved my VA's time having to get back to the people in my DMs one by one, so she can focus on other tasks that help my business.

But I wish there was an automation that sends a message to my new followers, even if there is no prior contact yet...

There are also quite a number of things I'm not happy with--restrictions like not being able to send a more dynamic message as a "Send to Comment Reply" and the issue of when the messages get triggered for no reason...

Excellent Product & Customer Service

I have been using Manychat for our agency for 5 years and am very happy with everything we can deliver for our clients on all platforms. As an agency we get excellent customer service with an instant live chat function so we can solve issues immediately.

WELL THOUGHT

They've thought of everything. After using manychat, using any other similar software is a painful experience. I use it for Telegram and Instagram for a lot of purposes. We've created sophisticated automations thanks to the vast options manychat gives us and I think 99% of people using manychat are just using 5%< of it's potential!

So difficult to navigate

So difficult to navigate. They assume it's obvious but it's really not. Too many options are shown but what they actually do and getting it to do what you want is SO HARD. basically need to hire professional help if you want anything beyond the basics.

Good and bad

1. The automations are great when they work. I’m experiencing issues with buttons not working in messages which means I need to manually intervene.

2. Training videos are out of date ajd have been promised to be updated for several months yet still waiting.

3. Customer service takes on average a week to get a reply. There is no live chat function and generally the support is lacking and a real problem they need to address.

This app helped me a TON and here's how

I am so glad that I have seen the ads for this app on Instagram. It sounded too good to be true. My Instagram growth was stagnating and I said, what the heck, they say they are IG-approved, let's give it a try.

Dude, it is so easy and so helpful to my online coaching business, IG become our #1 lead source. We have over 800k subs on YT and publish more on there. IG was 200k and it was a meh - platform for us. Now we have over 300k on IG and 822k on Youtube.

Let me tell you why it is great. First, it improves the reach. IG stories are painfully underperforming when you add link. With Manychat, you don't add link. You tell them "dm me x and get the link". It is easier for the viewer as well. IDK how it helps on Reels reach when you get a lot of comments but it probably helps there too.

Secondly, I can automate first interactions with my actual voice messages. This is better than any text reply or landing page experience.

Third and this is amazing: we create helpful quizzes and automations. Create reels to spread the word. Get people enrolled by just commenting a simple word. The automation starts in the IG chat (with my voicemails and images coming at the right times). We helped the people, showed them our expertise AND we can retarget that interested audience with Reels Ads.

This combo got us more than 20x ROI and it is better than anything we have ever done.

I love this app soo much, I probably quit IG altogether if it shuts down or anything. I respond to every email surveys and try to spread the word to my fellow entrepreneurs and creators.

Any negative experiences? Yes. First, it slows down my IG experience a lot. Sometimes I cant even add a story, I have to shut the app down and open up multiple times. But this is understandable, since maybe hundreds of deep meaningful conversations are going on in my DM's :)

Sometimes IG related glitches happen and buttons or links wont work temporarily. I have noticed this a few times in 6+months with short periods of downtime (1 hr or less).

All in all, I think it is understandable and I have no complaints at all. Hope this long testimonial of mine helps a fellow creator.
