DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
After being notified that our car had been affected by the flooding at Heathrow Airport, we arrived expecting information, support, and professionalism. Instead, we were met with rude, patronising, and completely unhelpful staff from the moment we arrived at the Maple Airport Parking desk.
The man on the desk laughed at the situation, refused to tell us where our car was located, and provided no information whatsoever about the condition of the vehicle. We were then told we would be picked up by a bus but were repeatedly refused when we asked where we were being taken. After asking over five times, we were eventually told we were going to the “head office,” but again nobody would provide an address or location.
We were transported in a minibus with other passengers, including a family with a 1-year-old child who required a car seat. The same rude staff member told them to “just get in” or make a 30-minute walk to the office with their child. When we offered to help them get an Uber with a car seat, staff again refused to provide the office address.
The so-called “head office” turned out to be what can only be described as a shack in the middle of a back-lot car park somewhere near Heathrow. All customer car keys appeared to be stored there, with operations being run from this completely unprofessional setup.
A manager then informed us that nobody was allowed access to the compound where our car was being held and again refused to confirm the location. However, only 10 minutes later, staff drove out to retrieve another vehicle from the same flooded compound to which the manager took us outside to show us the car. When we explained that we needed spare keys from inside our car, they somehow managed to access the vehicle immediately to retrieve them.
Since returning home, communication has been non-existent. The company repeatedly refused to provide updates, confirm the location of our vehicle, or explain what was happening. This became so concerning that we reported the car as stolen and involved the police.
After police attended the site, we were finally told the car had warning lights showing on the engine and they “didn’t want to move it for safety reasons.” At that point they finally agreed to provide the location so we could arrange recovery through the RAC. However, when the RAC arrived, access was refused yet again.
We still do not have our car. We still have no proper answers. The company continues to refuse to provide information or cooperate.
This has been one of the most stressful, dishonest, and unprofessional experiences we have ever dealt with.
Avoid this company at all costs.

Updated in response to MP response. A number of your statements are again inaccurate.
Firstly, your staff did laugh during our interaction and this was recorded, so we have clear evidence of the poor behaviour and lack of professionalism shown throughout. We also recorded conversations held at your office. For clarity, it was your own staff who referred to this location as your “head office,” not us.
We fully appreciate the flooding itself was outside of your control. Our issue has always been your handling of customers afterwards, the lack of transparency, communication and cooperation.
Your claim that your teams “did their best” does not reflect our experience. We repeatedly asked for basic information regarding our vehicle and were consistently refused answers, updates and even the location of the car.
You also claim access restrictions were due to “security and insurance reasons,” however this again misrepresents the issue. We were not requesting unrestricted personal access to the compound. We simply requested that the RAC be provided with the collection address so they could recover our vehicle. This was repeatedly refused until a police officer attended the site, at which point one of your agents suddenly had no issue providing the address over the phone.
We were also advised directly by your staff that the reason details were being withheld was because the company did not want “media attention” surrounding the flooding situation, not because of “insurance” or “health and safety” concerns as now claimed publicly.
Despite prior contact from both ourselves and the RAC, access for recovery was still denied when given notice to you.
At no point did we criticise staff for being busy or under pressure. We criticised the way we were treated, the contradictory information provided, and the continued refusal to communicate openly regarding our vehicle.
The flooding was outside of your control. The way customers were treated afterwards was not.
As stated previously: do not use this company. Absolute sham.

The price was very reasonable, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and both the drop off and pick up process were quick and hassle-free. As usual Maple staff were friendly and efficient and the shuttle bus frequency is good, but this was my first time using their Gatwick park & ride and, not having satnav, it was a bit stressful to get there on time, not helped by various road works along the way. Worth planning in an extra 15 mins to be sure.

First time using Maple.Have used others but what a difference Maple was. There was plenty of signage,room to park to drop off, booking the car in simple quick and easy. The collection even easier show your ticket told exactly where the car was and it was even near the exit ready to go

Have used Maple Parking on several occasions and they are now the only operator I would use. They have clear instructions, reasonable prices, great location opposite of the airport and I feel comfortable leaving my car with them.
