Fake pearl necklace received
Ordered a necklace my fiancee found. I was sceptical at the price as it was approximately £50 which was significantly cheaper than I'd anticipate. The item description read,
"Experience the ultimate in everyday elegance with the Elegant Teardrop Pearl Necklace Margot. Featuring premium 18k gold plating, 925 sterling silver, and a lustrous teardrop pearl, these pieces are specifically crafted to provide a luxurious shine and durability from morning to evening."
They didn't even attempt to hide it. It arrived in a plastic bag with chinese writing on it.
- The chain is not silver, it looks cheap and rigid and doesn't remotely resemble the picture on the website.
- The clasp that holds the pearl is also not silver and completely different to the clasp in the picture. It's closer to something that holds a keyring.
- The pearl is very unlikely to be real.
- It looks like something out of a Christmas cracker.
