Dreadful experience with MarketsVIP, previously VOMarkets!. I received a message from my “ account manager, to tell me that due to a glitch in the market with the gold, my £39,200 total deposits got whipped out! Even though I was told that from the start, only 4% of my deposit was invested! And by the way, there is a stop loss mechanism in place ! This came after the Friday that I asked the account manager to withdraw some money to pay out the 2 loans monthly instalments C, the “account manager” made me take with promise that the loans would be repaid in full by mid- February 2024. And on Monday the 19th of February, this happened which is too much of a coincidence.

I SINCE HAVE REPORTED THE SCAM TO ACTION FRAUD THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF CYBER CRIME. THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS SCAM SINCE THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN REPORTED MANY TIMES AND TO THE BANK.

in the process of exposing them WIDELY. Thankfully, I accumulated and archived a lot of evidence incriminating them! WITH VALUABLE HELP, I AM IN THE PROCESS OF EXPOSING THEM AND THEIR GROOMING TECHNICS TO THE KEY ORGANISMS THEY USE.
THEY SCAMMED THE WRONG PERSON!

THEY KEEP TRYING TO HAVE MY REVIEW REMOVED FROM TRUSTPILOT BUT IT MUST STAY ONLINE TO PREVENT PEOPLE TO FALL VICTIMS OF THEIR SCAM. I HAVE ALL THE SUPPORTING PROOFS OF MY REVIEW.

I invested £249 in Vomarkets in December 23. I had almost daily phone calls from my appointed "Account Development Executive (ADE)". These were very friendly and instructive calls. The calls continued for a few weeks and I was making a small overall profit in Forex trading, although 1 open trade was losing about $30.
Then the ADE suggested we needed to move into commodity trading, typical investment levels 2k to 7k dollars, if I remember correctly. Also, I wasn't happy about having to use Bitcoin to withdraw funds, although I was allowed to make 1 small, successful withdrawal on request.
After the mention of further investment, I became nervous, having read so many negative reviews about vomarkets (now re-named marketsvip). I said I didn't really want to invest in commodities. The phone calls and Forex trading continued for a few days, but then the calls stopped abruptly.
After a few more days, I thought I would pull the plug, although not really expecting to get my money back.
I emailed customer support (cs) on 19 January. Initially, the response was that it would take up to 5 business days for the refund. I emailed again on 30 January and the response was that I needed authorisation from the ADE and to give a reason for the withdrawal request. After several further email exchanges, I was informed that my account was with the "educational platform" PIP7. A link was provided, by which I contacted PIP7 and was informed it would take up to 14 days for a refund. By this time I was getting very frustrated and had very low confidence of getting a result. However, I was contacted by phone by a customer rep, who assured me I would be getting a refund. To my surprise, I received a full refund of £249 on 5 February.
Although the whole refund process was somewhat tortuous, and involved over a dozen emails back and forth, cs did respond to every email I sent and I had a number of reassuring calls from different agents regarding the refund.
I'm sorry to hear so many people have had a bad experience with the company. I can't say that the company is a scam organisation based on my experience, although my investment was small in the overall scheme of things. They seem to have a lot of personnel in the support department.
Overall, my review is neutral.

I registered for the trading platform via immediate vortex at the end of December 2023. My £250 minimum deposit was placed in the hands of VO Markets who we now know as Markets VIP, although there’s nothing VIP about them. Maybe another name change is imminent?
My appointed “executive manager” placed a few tiny trades on the Forex market which made tiny profits, which follows the pattern of other negative reviews under the guise of VO Markets. Within a week he was applying the pressure for more funds. He wanted a pot of $5000 (£3950 in my precious pounds) so we could trade commodities like gold, meaning bigger profit margins. Initially profits were made. He promised a 15%-30% profit per month. This is where I should have pulled the plug and gone with my gut. I did invest a further £3700 to top the fund up to around the $5000 mark. Very soon he was asking me to open a second account, solely to trade bitcoin as he said the bitcoin market was going to explode and then crash in April. I wondered if he knew that in advance then, perhaps he could give me the next winning line on the euromillions? He wanted another $11000 for that little wager. I wasn’t remotely interested. Bitcoin didn’t explode, it went down. Not to be deterred he started applying pressure for me to invest more capital into the existing account, a further $6000 to be exact! So that was a total of $17000 requested within a few days. I told him I wasn’t going to invest any more money, and this is when his attitude changed. He started gobbing off and became rude and insulting saying stuff like “I was $h!tt!ng myself and was dumb”. So I asked to speak to his manager. He seemed quite a decent guy and apologised for the little man’s behaviour. He said I didn’t have to invest anymore and could walk away if I wanted to. The test for me would be requesting a withdrawal which went ok but was only for $470, leaving the $5k invested in the open trades. That went ok and I knew this would be damage limitation. Apparently, the individual was to be spoken to, and fined for his behaviour but he’d learned nothing. The next call became heated very quickly and I terminated it, refusing to answer any more of his drivel. From this point on, the disastrous trades he had chosen plummeted very quickly. One of his choices was responsible for losing over $4000 alone. He clearly made a massive error or simply wasn’t as good at this as his ego suggested. Or perhaps he knew the value of that trade would plummet, giving him leverage to convince me to make another deposit to back up the deficit?? It was never going to happen. All six of the open trades were disasters and would not have recovered if I submitted the desperate attempts to get me to make another deposit, which would also have been lost. Inevitably my trades closed and my $5000 has gone. I discussed the negative reviews with this so called executive manager, which he dismissed as the work of fools. However, everything he did and said and the way he behaved fitted exactly with the reviews for VO Markets and Markets VIP.
They pull you in on a promise to make money.
They hassle and pressure you to invest more and more money.
They become rude, aggressive and insulting when you say no.
They have changed names
Contact via whatsapp suddenly stopped, claiming it wasn’t working so email became the medium for communication.
Daily calls were a nuisance.
Is Markets VIP a scam? Undoubtedly. I did make a profit temporarily on paper but that soon disappeared thanks to the poor choices of the executive manager.
It would appear that my money was lost on the back of genuine market prices (I checked), but it all happened very quickly after telling the pushy little trader NO.
Like a lot of people, I got bitten. I wasn’t in it to make millions and the £3500 that I eventually lost isn’t the end of the world, but please, don’t get bitten. “If it seems too good to be true, it most probably is”.
Avoid VOMarkets , Markets VIP or whatever they call themselves next like the plague. Put your money where it’s safe.

Poor old MarketsVIP didn't want me to name the "executive manager" who lost all my money so I was asked by Trust Pilot to remove that name. So I did. MarketsVIP or VoMarkets have no problem with names being included in their oh so genuine "positive" reviews, which is very hypocritical of them. Now they claim my experience wasn't a genuine one! Oh really????? So MarketsVIP, if you really do want to reach out and help make things right, I will accept a full refund of my £4000. Thank you.

Complete scammers reel you in with big promises of making money they only interested in getting as much money from you they can. Then you hear nothing from them

Hi,I have been trading on vomarkets and now market vip since October 2023,so far I have never had any trouble with my account I just like to thank Mr Damon for helping me to make the right decisions.
If you learn to say no and be patient you could make profit not lose,

So I opened an account with VOMarkets on 18 December. They have now changed their name to MarketsVIP the account manager to whom I initially spoke to that day promised to ring me on a day and time he never rang he rang the next day but I was driving so arranged another date and time but never rang and I’ve not heard from him since over 2 weeks ago. In the meantime I’ve contacted them asked for a refund but they said have to talk to the account manager but I have no contact details for him. Now it seems they have changed company names and my account has disappeared. I suppose I should count myself as lucky I was very cautious and only deposited £249 until I could see how it all worked. It’s now in the hands of my bank I’ve reported it as a scam.

UPDATE In reply to Markets VIP response to this review they have not tried to contact me on multiple occasions.

18.01.24 UPDATE They never phoned again on the agreed date and time. I did manage to speak to account manager and asked for my money back said he could only pay me in Bitcoins? They are trying to get my review taken down.

30.01.24 UPDATE 2 - MarketsVIP have advised Trustpilot that my review relates to another company and for me to move it. I can 100% assure MarketsVIP that my review relates to them. Where is my money I paid you in £’s what’s all the nonsense about Bitcoin? I will not remove my review until I have received £249 back to my bank account.

WARNING DO NOT INVEST WITH THESE SCAMMERS they have just changed their name from VO markets, I have email proof of this! If you invest with them you will lose all your money! They will start off very friendly and helpful, allowing a small withdrawal to show you how it all works. Then here’s where it all changes, they start putting immense pressure on you to put in thousands of pounds or take out a huge loan to fund your account. Telling you what to say on the loan application form. Saying they will co fund you as well to give you a bigger trading volume. When you start making a small profit and want to withdraw some, it then becomes impossible to do so, as without them giving permission every time you try to withdraw money it is declined!! If you speak to customer service they fob you off with a load of excuses, like you cannot withdraw yet as you need more trading power. Telling you to invest thousands more then you will be able to withdraw, when you have more liquidity. When you tell them you are not investing any more they then start getting aggressive, telling you that if you do not invest more your account is in danger and you will lose all your money. The minute they have your money it was already lost. when they start getting bad reviews they pull the plug and set up again with a different company name to start scamming people all over again. This company Marketsvip and the now closed VO Markets and needs to be held accountable, for all the misery, suffering and debt that they have tricked normal hard working people into. These people only went to them to try and better there life in these very difficult times only to lose all there money and make life even harder now they are in debt as these scammers have taken their money please DO NOT INVEST with them. Been there, done that and lost it all.

Marketsvip are trying ALL methods to get my review removed. This is a genuine experience of Marketsvip. Please beware of this company. Trade with them at your peril!!
