Pricing is extremely deceptive

Pricing is extremely deceptive. They advertise prices at $10 per month. They made with pages. I was built over $124 for two consecutive months. I disputed this on my credit card and the company fought like hell to get every time they could from me. As a casual user, please be aware of what you are getting into and read all the fine print.

Long time user, 95% great experience

I have used Marq since before it changed its name from LucidPress, since I think around 2017. I have used it for magazine layout, social media images, logos, card deck design. I find it intuitive and easy to use. It saves all my work and has never has had any glitches with that. Even after letting my paid account expire and returning two years later, all my old work was still saved! The only reason it's given 4 and not 5 stars is I think it was nonsensical to change from a really nice name like LucidPress to the stupid name Marq. And I finally found one big flaw. This software could be used for book layout (and in fact I did use it for image rich short books) but they don't allow you to set up alternating pages margins! My magazines came out great but I couldn't alternate margins for the binding seam. With short books it's not a huge deal but it is for longer books or for something like spiral bound which needs larger inside page margin. Go back to the nicer name of LucidPress and add functionality for alternating page margins! There are millions of self publishing authors who could use this product with just that one simple function added.

The free version is too poor

The free version is too poor, the paid version is too expensive.

I think it's the same as lucidpress but more focused on making money.

There are better and cheaper alternatives around for instance google presentations or -docs.
