A Big Paws Up

My gang received their box of Marro cat food, and I must say, it was impeccably packaged. The presentation alone was enough to impress, but the real test was taste… and they gave it a big paws up! True Michelin-star critics in the making, they couldn’t get enough. Highly recommend for any discerning feline foodie! 😸

The only complaint from my boy Hector was that the box was too small for him 😹

Really impressed - so far, the cat food our cats like best!

We've tried all sorts; all the cat foods you can think of that offer the same 'high quality' human-grade cat food etc - all hit n miss (more so the tinned ones)

We've 2 cats; one nearly 4 year old male and a nearly 2 year old female - both can be fickle; more so him (she's generally too busy for food, more so in the morning)!

However; both are really enjoying the food; one pouch between them in the morning (he gets 2/3 and she gets 1/3) due to the size difference - and it all goes, spotless bowls!

Would highly recommend

I have the fussiest cat

I tried luna onso many different cat foods to try and get her to eat properly as she was eating more dry food than wet, i would put her food down and she would lick the jelly and leave the meat, so i tried every cat food company and she would eat them to start off with but after a few days she was back to eating just dry food and leaving her wet food, but then i found marro and lunas been on it nearly a year now and she still eats her food she does eat a bit leave it for a bit then eats some more, when i tell u she is the fussiest cat going and she loves marro food plus the box her food comes in also doubles as a cat house and she loves getting in n out of it lol i would urge anyones cat who is fussy to try this, it even makes a difference with her poos they arent really stinky anymore since using this food so its a win win x

Sydney loves his marro so much

Sydney loves his marro so much. He always yells for it 5 minutes before dinner time and eats it in one go when served. His coat is so glossy and he’s a strong healthy boy all thanks to marro. Delivery is always on time.

I have finally found a food that my fussy cat loves!

I have tried Katkin and Untamed, and my cat Misty liked some meats and didn’t like others. With Untamed she only really seems to like the chicken in gravy or chicken in jelly, but then she goes off it after a couple of tins. I must say, she did like the Katkin and would finish the whole packet, which is something she never ever does with store bought food. But she would go off them after a while too. Anyway, I asked ChatGPT what a cheaper alternative would be to KatKin, and it suggested Marro. So I had a look on the website and ordered the trial pack which came the other day. I have just used the last packet this afternoon and Misty seems confused and devastated that there’s no more 😬 I’ve put some of her usual stuff down and she will not go near it. She absolutely LOVES the food from Marro and eats it all. She likes it warmed up as well, I think it’s because the jelly melts into a gravy. So this has definitely won me over 😊 Misty’s eating habits have been a huge source of anxiety for me, as she is generally underweight due to how fussy she is. So finding something that she really loves is actually helping us both. It’s going to save me A LOT of money each month as well, as I won’t have to keep buying different selections of wet food when she decides she doesn’t like the taste anymore. The Marro monthly subscription can be tailored to your cat’s needs and is very reasonably priced. So all in all, I would highly recommend these products.

Great variety of proteins

Great variety of proteins, which both of my cats (even the usually fussy one) have wolfed down from day one! No more wasted food and money - talking of which, Marro is so reasonably priced for fresh food. My only little bugbear is the packaging which is non recyclable and sealable.

My Sphynx Cleo has food allergies so…

My Sphynx Cleo has food allergies so she has to be on a single protein diet to eliminate the trigger, I have tried absolutely all HA food with no joy, Cleo turned her nose up to absolutely everything, then I saw Marro and how its tailor made with single protein, I wasn’t holding out much hope as we had tried KatKin and as always Cleo didn’t like it.
Cleo is a Sphynx by name and a true Sphynx by nature. She is extremely fussy and thinks she’s too good for anything lol
But I thought I’d try the trial box as I had nothing to lose as Cleo was rapidly losing weight and her back bone was protruding. Not holding out much hope, Cleo started Marro, I was absolutely amazed. She ate the entire lot within seconds. I thought maybe it was a one off, maybe it was because she was so extremely hungry, but nope, at her next feeding time she ate the entire pouch again. And that Continued happening for the entire week. I was shocked. Finally she was happy. This cat that believes she’s a real goddess is finally eating. And she loves it that much that we’ve increased her portions to 3 times a day because she just can’t get enough of it. Always a clean bowl left. I am extremely grateful for Marro, you saved my baby girl, and allowed her to be the true goddess she is.

I can’t recommend this Company enough.
Due to Cleo’s allergies, I spoke to a lovely lady Georgia in customer service to get the exact right plan, meal size, calorie intake, flavours and delivery plan that is exactly right for Cleo. There is so much flexibility with Marro, they even have vets on hand to help too.
An absolutely amazing company which has changed Cleo’s life. Her skin looks incredible and no more protruding back bone. She’s completely Thriving ☺️

Bob Cat's a Marro FAN!

Marro's customer service representative guided me through Bob's nutritional requirement with great knowledge of both the product and of cats.
Bob enjoys eating ALL his Marro dinners, no waste, just a happy healthy Bob Cat!!

Food is not appealing and be aware of the subscription and cancellation

Food: mushed and no appeal to my cat who’s not fussy in general. The amount in each pack is quite a lot and there is a quite waste

Subscription: you only get notification for delivery but not for the notice for taking the money in advance. I had to cancel immediately after the delivery notice then was told that it’s on the way so no chance to take it back or refund. Literally we are away for holiday and the delivery won’t work for us. By the time we are back i couldn’t imagine what the food would like.

I’m so sorry to hear that our recipes haven't met the mark for your cat yet. We calculate portions based on each cat's unique profile—including weight, age, and neuter status—but we know you know your cat best. If you feel their portion size needs to change, you can adjust it anytime in your account or by contacting our Customer Love Team. Regarding the texture, we aim for a gently cooked, soft consistency to lock in moisture, which many cats find especially appealing when served slightly warmed.

Regarding the subscription, we have a two-day cut-off point for all deliveries. We send a confirmation email at around 10 am on the day of the cut-off, which gives you until 11 pm that evening to make any changes or pauses to your scheduled delivery. Because our food is fresh and perishable, once that window passes and the box is prepared, we are unfortunately unable to stop the delivery or accept a return.

I completely understand that when you're away on holiday, subscriptions can be the last thing on your mind. I would love to see how I can help make this right for you. Cat loves it and great for sensitive stomachs

My cat Ruby has had extremely loose stools for years. Vets never seemed concerned as it was only a once a day occurrence, minutes after eating every morning, and she's otherwise fine. I tried all sorts of foods, grain free, hypoallergenic, sensitive, gastro - nothing made a difference. I even tried another raw cat food once but she wouldn't touch it. I then saw an ad for Marro and decided to give it a go. She was picky with it at first, taking a long time to eat it, but her stools become somewhat firmer. I persevered and she's now a convert and tucks in eagerly. And no more diarrhoea!

Easy to adjust/ change order as needed and always delivered when stated. Arrives in an excellent chilled box an usable as a cat house afterwards, good idea.
Very helpful customer service.
Would recommend, cats love the food.

Marro cat food is a solid choice if you’re looking for something your cat will enjoy while still supporting their health. I’d recommend giving it a try, especially if your cat tends to be fussy with food just like our cat 🐈‍⬛

Excellent customer service

Marro's customer service is excellent, I've had 2 problems (one delivery part missing, one I'd managed to mess up my order) and each time when I've rung up, they've been sorted over the phone straight away. Everyone I've spoken to, whether it's been to resolve an issue or for a query, is friendly, professional and super- efficient. As a bonus, my ultra-fussy elderly cat loves the food, it's the only food where he clears up every scrap.

Our Sid

Sid is 18yrs in May and, as you can imagine, showing signs of age now. One of the main problems started about 2 yrs ago, and that was that he was extremely fussy with his food which resulted in him bearly eating and loosing an exceptional amount of weight. At one point we thought we were going to have to make the hardest decision. BUT, fate brought us a chance introduction to Marro and, i'm happy to report, Sid is still with us, living his best life and eating 4/5 meals a day!!!!! We are beyond happy with this product and, more importantly, so is our SID!

Great healthy cat food but messy packaging.

Great healthy cat food with no added "nasties" like the big brands have. Our cat thrives on the fish recipe. The subscription is very flexible to suit the customer's needs. My only gripe is that the packaging requires scissors to open and it's impossible not to end up with messy hands, scissors and worktop. If this were changed to "tear open" pouches or cans the product would be a perfect buy.

I appreciate your feedback regarding our packaging. I understand that using scissors can feel a bit cumbersome when you are looking for a quick and clean feeding routine. Currently, our pouches are not peelable to guarantee the freshness and safety of our gently cooked recipes without using heavy preservatives found in traditional cans 0r shelf stable pouches. At this stage, a "tear-open" or peelable pouch would compromise our production process, though our team is constantly researching ways to improve this without risking the quality of our Fresh meals.

I’ve requested your details so I can send our some tips for the perfect mess free Marro opening to you. We will certainly keep our Marristocats updated if our packaging technology evolves in the future.
