Perfect colour match

I needed some touch-up paint for my wife’s bike. Ordered from MBP. Mixed to order and delivered in a couple of days. Well packaged and colour and finish were a perfect match. Nasty scratches now invisible. I would use Martin Brown Paints again.

this company is an absolute rip off…

this company is an absolute rip off whatever you do dont buy from them sent for a sample of paint cost me £18 and it came in a miniature bottle there wasnt enough in the bottle to see if the sample was any good please please dont buy from this firm mrs wilson

Awful Customer Service

This review is not based on the product as I have used a few of the aerosols from MB and generally they're pretty good.
That said the customer service following my last order has been non existent.
I was assured my order would be delivered before Friday (I ordered it on a Tuesday) but it didn't. When I enquired as to why it wasn't arriving on time I got told the order came in late which is rubbish as I placed it before lunchtime on the Tuesday.
Bearing in mind you pay for next day delivery this is pretty poor I think. Since then I have tried contacting MB via email twice and basically been ignored.
I have a product that is now useless to me as the job has expired and I would like to return my item for a full refund including the postage.
It's all very well offering good products but maybe put a little more time into customer service as well!

Appalling company

Like so many others this company are appalling absolutely zero customer service I actually sent in a sample at a cost to me and then they just ignored my emails very rude and ignorant .Do not waste your time and more importantly your money.

A complete waste of time and money.

On 4 July 2021 I ordered a litre of paint from this company at a cost of just under £30. The paint was to be colour matched and I sent Martin Brown Paints a suitably sized sample for this purpose. The paint was mixed and dispatched to me using a well known courier. However, it never arrived. Over a period of several weeks I emailed Martin Brown Paints on several occasions but they did not respond. I was doing all the chasing via telephone calls and was informed that the courier was trying to find my paint. Finally, after six weeks, Martin Brown Paints accepted the fact that my paint was missing and agreed to replace it. However, they required another colour sample as the original had been destroyed. On 19 July I sent Martin Brown Paints the only remaining sample I had which was slightly smaller than the minimum size they ask for. The replacement paint arrived on 22 July. However, it was a very poor match and of no use to me. Furthermore, it was clear from the labelling on the tin that the paint had not been colour matched, they had simply sent me a standard colour which they thought was a close match. On 23 July I emailed Martin Brown Paints to let them know I was not happy, that I wanted a refund and asked them what they wanted me to do with the paint, i.e. did they want me to return it. I attached a colour comparison to my email showing the distinct difference between what I required and what I had been sent. I have since heard nothing further from Martin Brown Paints. To summarise, Martin Brown Paints customer service is non-existent and they are not to be trusted.

"HEAD IN THE SAND" CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I wrote to Martin Brown Paints for the third time 17 days ago with regards to my order arriving incorrectly. I have not received a reply to any of my emails, the correct paint or my money back. I struggle to see why anyone would use this company.
Please see below the last email that I sent Martin Brown Paints.

RE: Lack of Communication

Having placed an order with your company last month for some sample paints (prior to placing a large order) when they arrived the order was incorrect. When I telephoned your office to make you aware, I was greeted with sarcasm as I was told that the incorrect product delivered was larger than the one ordered and therefore, I had gained. Why would a product that I do not want to be of any benefit irrelevant of the quantity that I received? If it is the wrong product, it is the wrong product!

Since my initial phone call on the 26th February I have sent two further emails to date of which I have not had a reply. This is now my third written communication about this issue. My patience has now run out and I will now be seeking to place my large order with another supplier.

I accept that we all make mistakes but surely it is a common decency that if an order is incorrect then the supplier should have a genuine interest in rectifying the issue rather than ignoring it. Disappointed all round with the time that has been wasted for both parties, caused by yourself. Be assured that I will be sharing my views more widely.

A top class automotive paint supply company.

This company was recommended to me on a motorcycle owners group. I'd previously ordered aerosol paint cans to respray a motorbike panel off ebay, to a specific colour code. It was ok but not great. I ordered the same paint from Martin Brown Paints on a Saturday night as a part of a paint and lacquer special offer. Firstly, the order was delivered on the following Tuesday morning and after using it, the difference is amazing. An actual colour match with the original panels and so easy to get a good covering.

I'm more than happy with the product and the company and will definitely be using them when I need paint again.
