I have been using Martin Robey parts for some time and have no problem with the quality of their parts, however their shipping costs have become ridiculous to the point where it's just not viable to purchase from them any further.
I have previously cancelled several orders that I was ready to purchase in the last few months due to exorbitant shipping costs, the final straw was being quoted £29 to ship six crankshaft sludge plugs that would fit in to a small envelope.

I have given them 4 stars for the parts but the shipping costs deserve 1 star or less.

Really appreciate working with such professional people specially a gentleman named Paul .

I recently purchase a small amount of car parts for a classic Jaguar I am trying to restore.
The company has a strange system whereas you put your order in then they check availability and add the postage, then you pay to secure the order. Unless I missed a cheaper delivery option I was charged nearly £7 for a Premium Rate next day delivery with Fedex.
Item turned up on the Thursday instead of the Tuesday promised.
Informed Martin Robey and got a reply that they ship 100-150 items per day and that in their opinion Fedex is the best company, looking at reviews at over 90% 1 star rating, not so sure!!
I would have hoped that Robey given the business they give Fedex would have requested a partial refund and passed it on to me but no mention in their reply to me just that delays happen.
I have no problem wjth the quality of their parts supplied by Robey BUT unfortunately will not be using their online purchases again!
