We had a great experience renting two bikes from Marty. We rented an e-bike that could fit our 2 kids (2 year old and 5 year old) on the back which made exploring nearby beaches so fun and easy. We also rented a gravel bike that was great for both family ride and solo rides. It was very convenient to have Marty deliver the bikes as well as helmets and locks. He was quick and responsive in his communication for drop off and pick up. We would definitely use his rental company again.

To date the process of hiring a bike from Marty Bike Rental has been brilliant. Lots of bikes to choose from AND they Deliver!!

Everything went smooth, good service, good bikes

Unfortunately, a poor experience. The main problem was that they do not deliver bikes (despite what their webpage says).

We had booked bikes for delivery and provided a delivery address, because the website advertised delivery as a service. We heard nothing from the shop and eventually called - they advised that they do not deliver in high-season, despite what the site says. So we had to go and pick them up. Next, we wasted time trying to find the shop as the address on the mobile version of the website is incorrect. (The site provides multiple addresses - the one on the contact page is incorrect.)

When we eventually got our bikes, they were OK although in need of service - loud break squeals and some rust. Shop staff advised this was because of salty sea air, which I understand: but also means the bikes need to be cleaned and serviced regularly. I do not think this is happening.

OK if you cannot find bikes to rent elsewhere, but overall I cannot recommend this place. When in the area again, we will choose another business instead.

A totally excellent experience - bikes were great and having them delivered to us and picked up afterward was such a bonus! We had a wonderful day.

In the shop not friendly as well!
