I don’t understand people who starts business instead of being a support they just wants to loot you. I will soon change my bank.

It’s been over two weeks just to receive and activate my new credit card — and the experience has been a complete nightmare.
After finally getting notified that my card was ready, I went all the way to EMX to pick it up, only to be told that I can’t activate it there. No one was available to help, and the AI virtual assistant on the Mashreq app is completely useless — it doesn’t connect you to a human agent at all.
I’ve tried every possible way to reach support, but there’s no proper human assistance, no clear instructions, and no accountability.
I honestly regret banking with Mashreq. Worst customer support I’ve ever experienced.

Please note that i have done clearamce in mashreq bank before one year and by that time i asked for clearance letter then they said that they will update within 2 weeks, unfortunatly till now they did not provide the same.
And last week i contact the mashreq bank by that time they infirmed me to visit nearast branch, from the branch they ask me to contact mashreq bank and i called mashreq bank and requested for no liability letter as an emergency base and they said will get within 7 days.
When i follow up with management tru mail, they contacted me and ask to call contact center to follow up.
Next day again i called contacted to mashreq bank requested to make it as emergency base.
However after thar daily i used to call mashreq team and requested to make it as emergency base but they said minimum 5-7 working days will take.
And now 7 working days finished and when i contact mashreq team they said again it will take 7 working days.
I know for the clearance letter 1 or 2 working days is more than enogh but here in mashreq they are playing with our situation.

I’ve been trying to open a business account with Mashreq Bank for three weeks, and the process has been a complete nightmare. The application seems to be stuck in their system, and there’s absolutely no way to reach a human being for help. Every time I try contacting customer service, I either get redirected to an IVR loop or speak to someone who just repeats scripted lines like a robot — “I will transfer you to IVR.”
It’s shocking how a major bank can have such broken systems and unhelpful support. If you value your time or need responsive service, look elsewhere.

I just want Mashreq to make it EASIER. In UK things smooth.. Mashreq just do it... UAE is top notch follow the lead!
Very very very difficult to update my trade licence. Basically impossible. Today KYC expire.. same thing not able to update.

My name is Muhammad waheed,
I have had a very disappointing experience with Mashreq Bank’s customer care. For the past two months, I have been trying to reach their support team regarding issues with my transfer, but the system does not even recognize my complaints. Despite repeated attempts, I was unable to get through to a representative to resolve my concerns.
When i got into contact with him, he said that you will pay some fee for processing your complain, and after deducting the fee,they said that you should contact your beneficiary, we cannot help you.
I think it is just a fraud going on, which is just making money, there is nothing else.
Compared to other banks, I find Mashreq’s service extremely poor, and I would not recommend their credit or debit card services. I usually avoid writing negative reviews, but in this case, I felt I had no other option.
Mashreq team — kindly do not commit to services or offers if you cannot deliver them. At the very least, customers should be able to reach your banking services, which unfortunately I was not able to do. This experience has left me very dissatisfied.

I had a grate and overwhelmed experience with Ms Rahab,I was having challenge on my app log in,and it has worried me for two weeks. I called and my air time got finished without finishing the process but this lady called me back,and help me out to fixed my log in problem.This lady was so kind to me that my phone was having internet issue but waited for me to fix till she solved my log in process for me.
Thank you sooo much.
Now I have activated my new card successfully.
