Since I started this program I have been very intrigued by the professionalism of the staff members. Though it isn’t a short road to success, it’s truly an inspiring experience which is fun but very in depth with their teachings. Come in and stay true to the process, keep moving forward and the day will come when you can look back on the journey to success 😎

This is an amazing program. This is where you want to be if you want to supercharge your music. This program covers everything in depth. There are plenty of opportunities to talk to mentors and get feedback on your progress. This program has an incredible community in which to ask questions. In-depth training on every aspect of mastering, mixing, and production. You will not be disappointed.

So I've been mixing and recording for a long time in several bands and thought I had a good grasp on everything but mastering and TRE teaches something every day I'm almost done with the mastering section of the program and i realized the more i learn the lee i knew I feel my audio engineer game is at a all new level and can't wait for the mixing section also they bring your computer game and DAW along with music sharing up which may be the second most important thing you will learn a Big THANKS to the TRE staff

I was at first skeptical about TRE but took the plunge and I can honestly say that I have not been dissapointed with their commitment to teaching in an effective and nurturing way. I have developed at my own pace and can see the positive changes in how I approach mixing and mastering, listening to music and how my mixes have improved. It has given me discipline in listening skills and to appreciated music I would not necessarilly approach to mix and seen the benefits in doing so. All the mentors are friendly, approachable, and skilled with a wealth of knowledge and are dedicated to improving and developing your skills. I can wholeheartedly recommend TRE to anyone considering venturing into the course and will not be disappointed!

I'm a cautious, nervous spender so it felt like a leap of faith to invest in the TRE program at Mastering.com . But the experience has been and continues to be awesome - totally worth it! All the knowledge, mindset guidance, mentorship and community interactions come together beautifully. The result is a rich educational experience for me/us to create excellent work, and to carry on doing so with what feels like all the support in the world. Before TRE I spent years frustrated by not having the knowledge to put out professional quality music, nor the "second set of ears" to ever know if I was on the right track. Now I have all these things for life and I'm thrilled to be putting out music I'm really proud of, for the first time in my life. I love being a part of this program!

The staff and community here are fantastic, extremely supportive and are champions for each and every member’s success. If you have been searching for the best place to learn music production, engineering, and mastering, then you have come to the right place.

I gotta say… this is all substance and no filler. There is a lot of choice out there for music education, but I can tell you, from first hand experience, this course will give you the skills to produce high quality music.

Mastering.com never rest on their laurels and are always tweaking the content to make the learning experience the best it can possibly be. The mentors are knowledgable and nurturing. Not only are the teachings and advice on the technical side of music production, but there is a healthy amount of psychological and philosophical perspective thrown in.

The Reverse Engineering course is not the end. There are electives that can help you with starting a career in the industry, if you so choose. This is what appealed to me most. I am on the middle of one of the electives now, and I am getting positive results.

Plus the community is awesome with friendly advice and support. There are also in person studio based events at various cities in the States and Europe.

On writing this review, it has dawned on me the sheer scope of what Mastering.com provides in a quality format.

I would like to give it 5 stars but the tutorials lack informative overviews on plugins and guidance. Let me elaborate: 1. One major issue I have that makes lessons longer than anticipated is the lack of plugin overview as they’re introduced. Introduce the plugin, give a quick overview, and share what you like about it. While reviews happen occasionally, it’s not consistent. But tried and true plugins that continue to serve as an example should have more explanation. Therefore, newbies are left to wonder if the tool is as significant as they allude. 2. Further explanation is missed in the Modules as if it’s presumed the viewer knows what they’re doing. Conclusion: Take the time to review pertinent aspects with each lesson and forego any mystique…it just wastes people’s time.

Master.com what can I not say about them? These guys got the best education for audio, engineers and producers. I’ve learned so much in a year that I’ve been with them. Taking this course, took all the doubt out of me in producing mixing and mastering. The mentors are great and very informative and right on point they record everything so you could go back and watch it again if you have no time. this gives you no excuse to grow in your career and they just added some after work mentors, which is awesome. money well spent.

Great material, in-depth coverage, so many exercises, such a friendly group, both the tutors and the community. Learned so much, and still learning! Music being always at my side throughout life, has now been enriched by knowing a lot more on mixing and masterin, my mixes and masters are way better. No comparison to before. Thanks so much!

Mastering.com is AMAZING!!! They taught me from the ground up. I knew nothing about music and instruments and mixing and mastering but they made it so simple. Caleb, Dane, and Jake are probably the best teachers Ive had so far, they are very down to earth and helpful. Caleb is great for mindset and philosophy especially!

This company has an ever-growing scope which has, over the last couple of years, become more and more in depth, detailed, and affordable - the latter is an important distinction for me! As a 2-year member of The Reverse Engineer, Sync Licensing for Income, and a Fix-the-Mix regular, I feel like I am growing into a proper Engineer, Producer, and Artist.

I'm a year into The Reverse Engineer, been a musician for 30+ years, but this last year has been transformative! Make no mistake, effort and commitment are required but the course is massively comprehensive, well taught, well supported (mentors are engaged and available) and under constant review/improvement

This course is the shit! Everything you need to know, and a lot of things you didn't know you needed. The staff actually cares about the students, and provide ever-increasing value for the investment you make.

It's not cheap, but if you aren't willing to invest in yourself, who will?

And the community is flat out amazing. Absolutely no egos allowed, nothing but support and great information you won't find anywhere else. I don't even go on social media anymore, except for marketing purposes; the TRE community is all the social interaction I need, without the toxic BS that has ruined most major social platforms.

You seriously need to do this, if you want to learn how to make amazing sounding music, for yourself or as a business.

I recently finished the TRE program and it’s one of the best creative and career decisions I’ve made. It’s the only online course I’ve seen that offers such complete coaching on all phases of music production with such an engaged, supportive community of talented musicians. This program, TRE (The Reverse Engineer) is for all levels of recording - from the Novice all the way to Expert, there's something for everyone. They teach you about your listening environment, even if you choose to use headphones as your primary tool. You'll learn the WHY behind the WHAT to make great sounding songs. After learning Mastering, you move into Mixing, where you learn about managing volume, frequencies, dynamics, and space. I've been mixing since the late 1980's and thought I knew all I needed, but my recordings just didn't sound "right". I joined in November 2024, and I already hear a huge improvement in quality!!! The Community Support of Peers is top-notch and goes way beyond anything else I've seen online. The Mentors are all seasoned Professionals with your best interest in mind. Not only will you learn about Producing, Mixing, and Mastering, you'll learn a few things about yourself that you didn't know. I recommend talking with these folks, and make a Life-changing decision. You can even join up into a Membership program that is a little less intensive with similar structure. In my opinion, you simply cannot go wrong signing up with Mastering.com!

I am currently enrolled in both "The Reverse Engineer" and "Mastermind". These programs are FAR MORE than just Audio Engineering programs. They also teach you how to monetize your skills, and start a new career in the industry. More importantly, they teach "Mindset" and "Philosophy" at it relates to the curriculum, and music as a whole. For me, it has been a game changer, actually - a life changing experience, and I would recommend it for anybody who wants to get real with their music production, mixing, mastering, and music business skills.... Whether you an Artist, someone writing for sync, or a Producer/Engineer. You will NOT regret it!! UPDATED: And how did I forget to mention the greatest asset of this entire program, equal to the Mentorship provided...... THE COMMUNITY. You will never find another Community of like- minded folks ready to help you like this Community...anywhere!

This is an amazing course. The learning curve is steep, exactly what I’d expect from a top quality program. The methods, the philosophy and content are superb and make complete sense.
