I opened an account with Matchbook as they charge a lower commission rate than Betfair. However the range of options are far fewer. For example they don't have a market for shots on target. I closed my account today as my winning bet was settled (correctly in their view) but grossly unfairly in mine. I dare not bet with them again - too risky.

Terrible company - suspend your account 3 times a month to ask the exact same questions and then blame it on safeguarding. Please explain how answering the same questions 4 days apart safeguards anything? What a shambles. Avoid!

Excellent company. Great customer service - most recently from Inan, who was very helpful, friendly and polite.
I am very much hoping that Inan is real, and not AI, although the interaction felt very human.

Used Matchbook for a few years (casino) then recieved a email out of the blue accusing me that Ive tried to deposit using someone else's card (from a random check) etc and threatening me that they will close my account if I do it again!. First of all I have never used someone's else's card or details so the whole message is poor and simply offensive. I have since complained and have since asked them to close my account indefinitely, plenty of other casinos to play at. Not heard a thing from the complaints team,just because youve closed my account doesnt mean the complaint will go away. I will be sending a copy of the email to UKGC, if you are going to make a strong accusation get your facts right before you send the email.

Complaint made on 14th Dec 2025 regarding accusation that I used other person's credentials to fund my account , 6 weeks have passed and absolutely no communication or acknowledgement of the complaint. Will escalate to ADR
