I'm writing this review after my second shopping experience with Matchman Supplies. My first experience wasn't especially positive - but I was wrong in thinking that the excentricities of their website meant that there was something untrustworthy about them. I left a one star review for a year based on my inaccurate perceptions - and I apologise.

One thing I've noticed about Matchman Supplies is that they often have items in stock which are out of stock in most other places - including items which have been discontinued. When popular items are discontinued the price of any remaining stock usually increases - but I've noticed that Matchman Supplies don't do that, and they should be commended for this.

My order was a Daiwa barbel rod and daiwa emblem bite and run reel which were offered in a very reasonably priced combo deal. Order was placed over the bank holiday weekend, dispatched on the Wednesday with DHL next day delivery. The rod was superbly packaged in a hard plastic tube (most other tackle shops use cardboard). Both items in perfect condition.

I look forward to placing further orders with Matchman Supplies in the future. I'm glad I was wrong.

Have been using Matchman Supplies for many years and spent ooo's of dollars and I live in Australia. Never had anything damaged,always packed well. Never had a shortage in the delivery. Advice from the Lads in Sales is accurate and they never try to sell stock just to get a sale. Honest people and a great bunch to deal with. That's the reason why I continue to purchase from Matchman Supplies.

Rang for advice before purchasing, very helpful e-mailed me with recommendations. Once order placed exceptionally fast delivery and items exceeded my expectations. Great value and will not hesitate to use again.

Ordered Sunday arrived Tuesday, excellent service, never had an issue, great stock levels

What an honest and trustworthy company. On Thursday I ordered two lots of tackle but on two different orders. A Preston Mag Store box and various hook lengths. They rang me on Friday to apologise and advise that one item was out of stock and did I want a replacement. They also told me that both orders added together meant I qualified for free postage and refunded the postage cost. All the items were delivered on Saturday. All I can say is brilliant service and I will be placing my next order with them.

I have ordered three times now from Matchman Supplies online and have received excellent service.
One of my orders required them to contact me regarding my order as low stock of an item could of caused a delay so an alternative was arranged.
On a separate occasion I placed an order then within 2 hour I placed another ordered I was contacted by a friendly and knowledgeable member of staff and both orders were delivered together with a postage refund for second order now that’s great service.
All orders have been well packaged and arrived quickly.
I highly recommend Matchman Supplies for all your fishing tackle sold by people who know fishing and are friendly.

Been a customer of Matchman Supplies for many years and have never had one thing to complain about. The range of tackle & clothing is extensive. Tim and the lads are both knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended.

Longstanding and Independent Retailer that has by far the most extensive range of Angling in the Nottinghamshire County, possibly more I don't know. (I've never needed shop elsewhere!)
