Poor communication and refusal to acknowledge the impact
I used Match Me Car Finance in relation to a vehicle purchased on finance in July 2026.
When serious issues arose with the vehicle, I exercised my short-term right to reject it under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Unfortunately, Match Me’s handling of the situation was extremely poor.
I tried to give them time to resolve matters properly, but the process was slow, unclear and stressful. I repeatedly had to chase for updates and was often left trying to work out what was happening between the broker, dealer and finance company.
What has been particularly frustrating is the way Match Me have minimised the impact this had on my family. We are a family of five and were left without a suitable, reliable vehicle while the matter dragged on. Despite this, they did not appear to accept that the delay and lack of proper support caused significant practical, financial and emotional strain.
I also feel they failed to properly acknowledge their part in the poor handling of the matter. Instead of taking clear accountability, the response felt dismissive and focused on process rather than the real impact on us.
There are also unresolved issues regarding insurance/warranty payments and my Subject Access Request, which has still not been properly dealt with despite the legal deadline passing.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Match Me Car Finance. The communication, accountability and customer care were extremely poor, and their handling made an already stressful situation worse.

You have raised a number of serious concerns, including the time taken to deal with the vehicle rejection, having to repeatedly chase for updates, the lack of clarity around who was responsible for what between ourselves, the dealer and the finance company, and the feeling that the practical and financial impact on you was not properly recognised. We can also see that you remain unhappy with how the matter was communicated to you and that you feel greater accountability should have been taken.
We do not want to make assumptions about the circumstances or comment on disputed points publicly without first reviewing the full history of the case, but we do appreciate why, from your perspective, a prolonged process with limited clarity would have been extremely stressful. We have also noted the additional concerns you have raised regarding the outstanding warranty/insurance payments and your Subject Access Request.

AVOID AVOID AVOID
Two weeks ago I went to buy a car via these guys. Who called me 3-5 times a day every day plus texts plus emails to get a deal done. I rejected the car on 12th sept 2026. Called them immediately I was told a manager was dealing with me and the rewind process. Today the 24th sept the rewind of the deal has not been done. The finance company are planning to take a payment in just a few days. They are taking a payment for warranty also in a few days and after numerous calls to them the sales team can’t help ?!?
I’m still waiting for after care/case manager to contact me.
It’s an absolute joke. I have been though a rewind process just a few months ago via another broker and that took just two days to sort. These guys are incompetent at best and jokers at worst.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Avoid

I enquired online on the 9th September…
I enquired online only once on the 9th September 2026. I did not request a call as my preferred contact was email Since then I have had to 32 missed calls. 3 times a day, one day it was 4 times. Just tried to call me again now. This is harassment. If I was interested in car finance I would no longer use this company.

The calls were made over a period of time rather than all within a short window, and our intention was simply to help with the applications and callback requests we had received.
We appreciate that the overall volume of contact exceeded what you were comfortable with. Your application has now been closed, and your details have been removed from our call system, so you should not receive any further calls from us.

Easy and stress free process
Kevin made the process extremely easy and stress free. I had a specific car in mind and this was found and everything was agreed with 24 hours. Collection of the car took place at the earliest convenient and time frame of driving away was fantastic. I arrived at the garage at 10am and by 10.45 I was driving away and this was after going for a test drive. Would recommend 100%
