Interactive Training Session
The training was very interactive, and the trainer did provide advance explanation through out the learning session.
Order and delivery of ‘The Maze’.
I was happy to receive immediate confirmation on my order. Although the order took awhile to be delivered. I emailed for an update and I received a prompt reply with an apology about the delay due to staff working from home because of Covid-19.
Overall good communication and update.
Brilliantly refreshing!
Nutritional interventions in mental health
Very good overview of all the things we should be looking out for and also how to influence mental health with diet. I think it really puts things into perspective
Feedback on Sec12 refresher course
Communication with Maudsley staff for queries regarding the training was appalling.
There was no reply to my emails and no one to answer the listed telephone call.
The training itself was good, though sessions on expectations of a social worker was not needed
More emphasis could also have been given to case studies and scenarios
The theory reading was very onerous too
More CAMHS population discussions
The discussions were good but quite generic. Would’ve liked more of under 18 case discussions for MHA & the tricky situations encountered
Excellent learning experience
Excellent learning experience. Comprehensive and interactive. Well structured, well prepared and well executed.
Prompt responses and support
Prompt responses and support. Specific and clear information provided. In-time reminders and prompts.
Section 12 Approval Course
Thorough course and really well delivered- the interactive format really helped the learning process. Quality of the e-learning packages is excellent and I will be using them for reference in the future.

Fantastic course with lotsnof opportunity to ask questions to knowledgeable specialists
On the first day
On the first day, we had a 2 hour period to just read material related to course content. At £225 a day, I felt this was not justifiable
REALLY VERY INFORMATIVE AND USEFUL COURSE
I ATTENDED THE MAUDSLEY LEARNING SECTION 12 INTRODUCTORY COURSE . IT HAD 2 PARTS. THE FIRST PART WAS E-LEARNING MODULES WHICH WERE FANTASTIC. THERE WERE 10 MODULES AND COVERED ALL THE ASPECTS OF MENTAL HEALTH ACT. REALLY VERY INFORMATIVE AND USEFUL.
THE SECOND PART WAS THE INTERACTIVE MODULE WHICH WAS ALSO VERY WELL ORGANISED AND WELL PRESENTED. THIS SECTION 12 INTRODUCTORY COURSE WAS VERY HIGH STANDARD AND I ENJOYED IT THOROUGHLY. I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND THIS COURSE TO MY FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES WHO ARE WORKING IN PSYCHIATRY.
THANK YOU.
