Spreads are very high

Spreads are very high , your limit orders will not get triggered instantly if price hovers around that level then it may trigger and same goes for tp and sl, price will just hover around those levels but in most cases it will not trigger until you close it manually. Please dont go for lower prices instead choose better prop firm which actually provides low spreads. Also they dont have a live support . And on 22nd april 2026 i had one losing position so i closed platform , next day when i try to place a trade it showed daily drawdown breached and when i checked the previous day trades it showed 3 position in a loss which i had not traded and because of those trades my account got breached but still i dont how those trades got there and interesting thing is those 3 trades placed at the exact time , exact price and exited at the same price . And they dont have a live support to raise this issue

The worst prop funded

They close my account when i was in profit saying that i lost from equity and the problem is that i was in profit how can i stop losing in profit, it was a retracement. To make bigger profit . Maven's actually the worst prop funded i've bought from .

Hi Omar,

We understand this can be frustrating. Just to clarify, drawdown is based on equity (including open trades), not only closed profit. This means that even if your account is in overall profit, a retracement during open positions can still trigger a breach if the equity falls below the allowed limit.

We always recommend keeping a close eye on equity during active trades, especially around pullbacks.

Wishing you the best moving forward.

I had a disappointing experience with Maven Trading

I had a disappointing experience with Maven Trading regarding my account review process.

My account was flagged for “group trading” based on a device identifier (CID). I explained in detail that I was using a ForexVPS server, which is a common and permitted setup for traders, and provided complete VPS information to support this.

In virtualized environments like VPS, device identifiers can sometimes overlap due to shared infrastructure. Despite clarifying this and requesting proper review, I was not provided with any trading-based evidence, such as:

- trade correlation
- mirrored positions
- or coordinated execution

After sending multiple professional emails and follow-ups, I have now stopped receiving responses entirely, without any clear resolution.

I fully respect that prop firms must enforce rules, but decisions should be transparent, consistent, and supported by clear evidence. In this case, the lack of response and reliance solely on device identification raises concerns.

I am still open to resolving this matter professionally and would appreciate a proper review based on actual trading activity.

Until then, I cannot recommend this firm based on my experience.

Heartbroken: Passed Phase 1 after 4 years of practice, but Maven crushed my mother's funded account over a technical error 💔😭🎓

I am a 17-year-old student, and for the last 4 years, trading has been my life. Since I was 13, I spent every single day practicing on Demo accounts, staring at charts for 12+ hours until my eyes were red and exhausted. I did all of this with one goal: to change my family's life. 🏠👨‍👩‍👦📉
I finally saved every penny to buy a $2,000 challenge (Order #1053923). Since I am 17, I opened the account legally in my mother’s name (... I worked incredibly hard and SUCCESSFULLY PASSED Phase 1. Maven even sent her the Certificate of Achievement, and I felt so proud that my 4 years of sacrifice were finally paying off. 🎓✨
But my joy turned into a nightmare during the KYC for the funded account. My mother was doing the verification, but she struggled to hold the camera correctly. I stepped in just to help her stabilize the phone, and my face/hand accidentally appeared in the frame. Maven’s automated system flagged this as a 'mismatch' and instantly terminated the funded account.
I explained to support that I was only helping my mother with the camera, but they were heartless. They labeled this accidental technical error as 'fraud' and are now refusing to refund my $13.80 savings. 🚫
Since I haven't even started live trading on the funded account, Maven has suffered ZERO financial loss. Keeping a student's hard-earned savings over a technical mistake during a family member's verification is unethical and cruel. They didn't just take my money; they took years of hope. Please, if you are a young trader, stay away—they have no heart. 💔🚩 UPDATE: I contacted support (Edward) to explain the technical error, but he refused to listen. He labeled my explanation as a 'threat' and confirmed they will keep my money. They are using automated KYC rules to profit from a 5-second camera adjustment error. Absolutely heartless. UPDATE :This is a poor excuse to keep a 17-year-old student's money. I opened the account in my mother's name precisely because I wanted to follow the law, and she was with me during the KYC. The only 'violation' was a camera adjustment during the process. You are using a minor's technical mistake to profit and steal 4 years of hard work. If you won't give me the account, the least you can do is refund my mother's money. Keeping the money while providing NO service is unethical."Update: Maven reported this review to hide the truth, but I have removed the personal name to comply with guidelines. The issue is still NOT resolved."

We understand this is disappointing, but this was not a technical error.

You confirmed that you are under 18 and that the account was opened and used under your mother’s identity. This is a direct violation of our KYC and account ownership rules.

For security and fairness, we cannot allow third-party use of accounts or make exceptions in these cases. As outlined in our policies, KYC failures due to identity violations are not eligible for a refund.

You’re welcome to try again once you meet the age requirement and can participate under your own identity.

Hi Sherlock,

Placing a trade or take-profit before a news event does not exempt it from the rule, if the take-profit is triggered within the restricted news window, it is still considered a violation.

For 2-step accounts, all activity (including Phase 1) is reviewed only after both phases are completed, which is why this is identified at the final stage rather than earlier.

This process is applied consistently across all accounts.

Hi Navin,

We’ve reviewed your account and can clarify what you’re seeing.

Your account uses a trailing drawdown, which is different from simply tracking closed losses. It is based on your highest equity reached during a trade (including floating profit), not just the final result after the trade is closed.

This means:

Even if your trade eventually closed at around a -$6 loss,
If your position was previously in higher floating profit and then dropped, the system tracks the drawdown from that peak equity level, which can result in a larger recorded drawdown figure.

So the number you’re seeing is not an additional loss taken from your account, but rather how the trailing drawdown rule measures risk based on equity movement.

We understand this can be confusing at first, but it is a standard rule for this account type and is applied automatically.

If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out, we’re happy to clarify.

Absolutely bad company

Absolutely bad company.
I have experience and dealt with propfirm companies for 3 years, I have not found anything worse than that, there is no advantage at all and I have a whole list of the cons
1- The execution in their server is bad compared to the rest of the companies, we all know that the price slippage is a natural thing but they have Something very exaggerated, to be honest on the indicators the situation is perfect

2- The support is very bad and never answers clearly and I have a lot of emails and live chat on the site

3- I have successfully exceeded the 3 steps account with win rate of 70 percent on average in 3 accounts.
all my risk qualities between 0.5 to 1 percent
I finished the The Challenges and I want to complete the verification process, they refuse to accept the notarization, even though I take pictures of my passport and they tell me It is a forged document, knowing that I skipped the Verification on many platforms that deal with the Verrif website
Passport is always accepted
The support is very rude and uncooperative at all how do I ask to follow up the verification manually or to help with anything and always the answer is short and not clear
Throughout my career with funding platforms the support is often friendly but here it is pretty disgusting

I don't understand, if the passport is a forged or suspicious document, what can I authenticate with.

I even completed Verification here at Trustpilot via verrif and the same passport was accepted

Anyone who wants to buy accounts should be very careful

Hi there,

We’ve reviewed your case and would like to clarify a few important points.

All KYC verifications are handled through our external provider (Veriff), and decisions such as document rejection for suspected tampering are made entirely by their system, not manually by our team. For compliance and security reasons, we are unable to override or manually approve documents that have been declined.

We can see that multiple verification attempts were made and that new links were provided so alternative documents could be submitted. When a document continues to be flagged, the only way to proceed is by submitting a different valid ID that meets the provider’s requirements (clear image, proper lighting, original document, etc.).

We understand this is frustrating, especially if the same document has been accepted elsewhere. However, verification standards can vary between platforms and providers, and we must adhere to the decision of our KYC partner.

Regarding support, we acknowledge that the experience may not have met expectations, but our team did continue to provide guidance and new verification attempts throughout the process.

If you’re able to obtain an alternative valid ID, we’ll be happy to issue a new verification link so you can complete the process and move forward.

Hi Naseem,

This case has been carefully reviewed.

The KYC was not rejected due to a camera issue. A clear mismatch was identified between the ID submitted and the individual completing the verification, which is a serious breach of our policies.

As a result, the account was closed and the balance is not eligible for withdrawal. In cases like this, additional verification methods or appeals are not applicable.

Our policies are applied consistently to protect all traders on the platform.

Breached for $4.31 over the limit. Appeal denied. Stay away.

I want to keep this factual because the numbers speak for themselves.
I held a Maven Instant Funding account trading XAUUSD. My account was breached because a floating loss exceeded the 1% drawdown rule by $4.31. Not $43. Not $430. Four dollars and thirty-one cents over the threshold on an open position.
I submitted a formal appeal with my full trade history, timestamps, and annotated screenshots showing the context of the position. Maven reviewed it and denied the appeal with a final email that offered no path to resolution, no goodwill adjustment, no acknowledgment that $4.31 is a rounding error on most funded accounts — just a closed door.
Here's what bothers me most: this wasn't reckless trading. This wasn't a rule I didn't know about. It was a $4.31 floating exceedance that they used to wipe the account entirely. No grace. No proportionality.
If you're considering Maven, just know — their rules are enforced with zero discretion. A $4.31 overage on a floating (unrealized) loss is enough for them to terminate your account and keep your subscription fee. That's not a partnership. That's a trap.
I have the annotated screenshot and their final email saved — happy to share with anyone who asks or any platform that investigates. Take your money to a firm that treats traders like people, not accounts to churn.

Hi Shalom,

We’ve reviewed your case in detail.

The breach occurred when your account exceeded the 1% max risk limit based on equity (floating PnL). This rule is applied in real time, and once crossed, even briefly, the account is automatically breached, regardless of the amount.

While the difference was $4.31, the rule is fixed and applies equally to all traders. Factors like spread or stop losses don’t prevent temporary equity dips, which is why maintaining a buffer is essential.

Your appeal was reviewed, and the outcome reflects consistent rule application.

We wish you the best moving forward.

Unfair Payout Denial Using “KYC Fraud” – No Proof, No Transparency

I had a very disappointing experience with Maven Trading.

My payout request of just $152.64 (my FIRST payout) was rejected with the reason “KYC Fraud” — without providing any actual proof or clear explanation.

Here are the facts:

I used my real identity for KYC

I did not violate any rules

My account was fully verified and allowed to trade

If there was truly any issue with my KYC, it should have been flagged during the verification stage — not at the time of payout.

Instead of properly investigating or asking for re-verification, they simply rejected the payout and marked the decision as final.

There was:

No transparency

No detailed explanation

No opportunity to defend myself

As a trader, you invest time, effort, and discipline to reach payout stage. Denying even a small payout like this raises serious concerns about how larger payouts are handled.

This experience makes it feel like “KYC Fraud” can be used as a generic excuse to avoid paying traders.

I would strongly advise other traders to be cautious before choosing this firm.

Hi Rai,

Your payout was not denied without reason. During KYC, there was a clear mismatch between the person completing the verification and the ID submitted.

You also confirmed in your conversation with support that someone else assisted you with the process. For clarity, KYC must be completed solely by the account holder, any third-party involvement invalidates the verification.

This was reviewed thoroughly, and the decision was made based on confirmed compliance concerns, not the payout amount.

Without any email or any notice they ban me

I have been a loyal trader with Maven for over 18 months, during which time I have invested more than $2,000 in account fees. Throughout this period, I have maintained a consistent track record, resulting in over $7,000+ in total payouts.

While there was one instance where a payout was rejected due to the “1-minute rule,” my overall experience with your support team and payment processing has been very positive—until recently.

When I attempted to purchase a new account, I received a “Contact Support” message. After reaching out, I was informed that management has decided they no longer wish to continue their professional relationship with me.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide further clarification regarding this decision, as it came as a surprise given my long-standing and positive history with your platform.

Hi Shuwaibur,

We appreciate you sharing your experience and your history with Maven.

After reviewing your account, we can confirm that the inability to make new purchases is the result of an internal account restriction. These decisions are made by our system and management team based on a range of factors related to account activity and platform policies.

While we understand this may come as a surprise, these decisions are final and are not applied arbitrarily. They are part of maintaining a fair and secure environment for all traders.

We do appreciate the time you’ve spent trading with us and wish you the very best moving forward.

Bad Spread along taking Commission

Bad Spread along taking Commission

I wouldnot recommend anyone to trade with maven, Especially to complete any kind of challanges we need a good execution and good rr, but the worse thing about this prop frim is even you either day trade or swing the spread will literally make your 4.1 rr to 2.1 with execution of more than 0.1% loss, moreover along spread they also take so much commission which lead you to more diffucult to pass the challange. And this is my 3rd time trading with maven and the last time. When i reached out their team about this problem simply they ignored and didn't responded. Literally guys dont belieive to such kind of company with bad kind of system trading and bad team support.

We’ve reviewed our support channels and were unable to find any record of you reaching out regarding this issue. It’s possible there may be some confusion or that you’re mixing us up with another company.

For clarity, Maven’s commissions and spreads are fully transparent: $2 per way for forex, $3 per way for metals/energy, zero for digital ETFs, indices, and commodities. Swap fees are zero.

Compared to other prop firms, our fees are competitive, many brokers charge higher commissions and wider spreads. Execution and risk management are part of trading any challenge, and all parameters are clearly shared upfront for planning strategies.

Hi there,

We understand how frustrating delays like this can feel, especially when you’re expecting immediate access after payment.

From what we can see, this situation appears to be related to a UPI transaction that wasn’t fully completed. In such cases, the amount may be debited from your account initially, but without the final confirmation step, the transfer is never successfully received on our end, meaning no account is created.

When this happens, the funds are typically returned automatically by the provider within a few business days.

We also reached out via email to explain this and help clarify the situation, but didn’t receive a response. If you’re still experiencing any issues or haven’t seen the refund, please share your details with us so we can assist further and make sure everything is properly resolved.

We’re here to help, just need a way to connect with you.
