I purchased new tires with road hazard coverage from Mavis Discount Tires about a year ago. I went to get my tires rotated, and they wanted $19.99/tire to rebalance the tires. Every other place I purchased tires in the past would rebalance the tires for free. I would not purchase tires from Mavis Discount Tires again.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
Quoted one price on Sunday told I was first in on Monday. Price changed and I would of been 2nd. Add at least another 45 minutes wait.NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!
4TH BAD EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD!

David an all his employees where very profesional they recomended tires an wheel allignment while getting oil change his crew workers where also very kind even put air in my tires for me def recommend this store in Wayne

What a frustrating waste of time and money. Don’t get me wrong- Martin and Maury were both kind and tried to be understanding and helpful. Unfortunately, the attention to detail at both this and the Butler location is not sufficient. When a store screws up and damages your car or causes enormous inconveniences, some refund or retention effort should be made. I have had most of my major car service and repair done at Mavis for 5 years now. I emailed corporate about a frustrating experience at Butler- no answer.

This time I made an appointment for 3 new tires (after a flat was recently replaced). I let them know when I called that I had a negative experience recently at their neighboring store in Butler. They said they’d be glad to service my vehicle and ensure it was done in a satisfactory manner. The first problem was that there was no thought to check inventory to see if they had the three matching tires I needed. So upon arrival for my appointment, I had to come back an hour and a half later, after they went to get the tires from a neighbor store. Frustrating, but not a big deal.

The following day when I took my car on the highway, there was a noticeable wobble that felt unsafe. I was on my way to Long Island, so I stopped at the nearest location in Lodi to ensure the car was safe to drive. This slowed me down an hour. They let me know it was safe but after I did a visual check, I realized ONE OF THE TIRES WAS NOT A MATCH- it was a different brand than all the others and did not match what was on my receipt. I called to let Martin know what happened and that I’d expect a manager to provide a partial refund for the incredible and frustrating inconvenience of having to stop at another store AND come back to his store to get the tires I should’ve had in one quick visit.

So, by now, I’ve arrived at a Mavis four times to get the tires I needed (having called ahead for the fourth visit, to ensure they had a single tire in stock- something no one at the store thought of). Martin was no where to be found and the store seemed to have a brand new manager. I was told they’d offer me 50% off the tire I was getting. HA! I already paid for the tire, and I came in to finally receive the one that was not installed. I told them I would hope for and request some retention effort for these extra hours of annoying phone calls, drive time and repeat visits to get a simple tire change. No retention effort was offered. I let them know I’d likely not be back and they’d be getting these reviews.

Save yourself the pain and go literally anywhere else!

Great customer service

The manager was very helpful and my car was taken immediately.

I went to Mavis, Wayne, NJ to have a minor repair done to my car. The gentleman at the front desk was kind and courteous. He listened to me explain what needed to be fixed, the cover to the oil pan (not the oil pan itself) had becme loose and, at times, was dragging on the ground. The repair was done within 20 minutes.
As a woman, there is always the underlying fear that I will not be listened to or taken seriously as well as possibly being taken advantage of. This was NOT the case. THE REPAIR I ASKED FOR, WAS THE REPAIR THAT I RECEIVED. My tires were also inflated to the proper pressure. Due to my positive experience, I would recommend this location to others.

When I called the answer is always sure bring it over, and we would look at it... very friendly staffs

Customer service was lacking in compassion, but the service was done properly once the tire was ordered and received. Didn't like the fact that my car came without a spare or donut but that's not Mavis fault.

The person at the front desk was very courteous, Mik I think his name was. I had a leak in a tire. It was repaired quickly. I also signed up for the Mavis card.
Going back for tires . very good experience.

My car was making a strange noice when I started yesterday morning. I tried driving to the office but was very concerned about its safety, so I turned around and drove right to my Mavis (2264 Hamburg Trnp, Wayne NJ) station where I always change the oil.
I was taken right in. The guys asked me a lot of questions, check everything, took all tires off to make sure nothing is wrong there. When they offered me to take a ride to check, I saw that the problem was gone. They couldn’t find anything wrong but said it could be the cold weather and I didn’t warm it long enough.
They didn’t charge me anything! Just wished me a good drive! Every time I come to this place - I always get the best service!

Cory, you are awesome, you can handle pressure like a pro. No matter how busy you are, you make time to welcome customers with smile on your face as well as doing the job fast and right. I wish all employees of the company treat the customers like you do. You do not cut corners and you get your price but with lots of gratitude and respect. You just made me a loyal customer. I respect you for who you are!!!
