Written by the company

Mavy Wellness, formerly FitVegan Coaching, is an online coaching company for adults over 50 who want to lose body fat, build strength and stay independent on a whole food plant based diet. Founded by Maxime Sigouin, author of Forever Fit, and cofounder Ivy, Mavy has coached nearly 1,300 people aged 50 to 87. Every 1:1 client is matched with a dedicated coach who builds their training and nutrition around their body, their history and their life, with regular check ins, the Mavy Wellness app and group calls with Maxime and Ivy. Who we help: men and women over 50, many of them retired or about to retire, who already eat plant based or want to eat more plants, and who want to get stronger, lose fat without losing muscle, and keep doing the things they love for decades. How it works: our Forever Fit method combines whole food plant based nutrition with enough protein, progressive strength training at home or in the gym, and steady habits instead of crash diets. Clients choose 1:1 coaching with a dedicated coach, the Forever Fit group program coached by Maxime and Ivy, or a self guided online course. You can also hear real client stories on the Forever Fit Podcast, with more than 450 episodes. Forever Fit, the book behind our method, is endorsed by physicians including Neal D. Barnard, MD, Laurie Marbas, MD, and James F. Loomis, MD. Book a free call with our team at mavywellness.com.

Building muscle at 69 years if she

I’m 69. I’ve worked out with personal trainers and cross fit gyms for many years but this was my first time working with coaches that understood my dietary choices. Additionally the Mavywellness coaching team understands what an older person needs to mitigate sarcopenia and increase strength, endurance and balance
