Absolutely terrible, the worst energy provider I have been with. Terrible customer service, high prices, cheating customers. Search them on google and you’ll find all the complaints and investigations against them.

Maxen Power have a stupid system.
On the 10th of March I received an estimated bill dated 4th of March of £566 which was more than 50% higher than normal usage
,so on the 11th I sent my own reading along with photographic evidence. £566 was deducted from my account on March 18th. I then received an email that revised bill amount of £261 would be deducted from my bank. So they have taken a total of £828.18 from my bank account leaving me with a credit balance £567 which they will hold against future bills. This is money I could use with having in my bank account. In my view they should have used the amount of the new estimated Bill and deducted that money from the already accumulated balance and not added a further £261. The Lady from their team that I spoke to today understood the situation and was very pleasent, but the Guy I spoke to on the 23rd couldn't grasp the situation and even hung up the phone on me leaving me feeling extremely agitated. Now I get the feeling that the company is putting undue pressure on the Lady I spoke to today to change my feedback.
