Pleasant Surprise
I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly my auction went. It was self managed and rather straightforward for me to take photos and post lots. All 30 items sold! The whole process was about 2 weeks. The MaxSold support team was excellent and very helpful.

Overall I had a good experience
Overall I had a very good experience with MaxSold. There are a couple of things about the cataloguing that could have been better. We were selling a large Chinese screen and the staff person cataloguing it didn't open it up to take a picture. We had to send pictures of it opened to use. Similarly we had a Chinese rug to sell and the cataloguer only opened it one fold for a photo. The rug sold well but would have probably sold higher if it had been opened one more fold. The day of the pickup I discovered two items that didn't get catalogued at all. Luckily I was able to sell one of them to someone who had bought something similar. Outside of these cataloguing issues I was very happy with our MaxSold experience.

Repeat customers months apart
This is the second time we used maxsold in the last three months. (Total clearing of late grandparents home and downsizing of parents place) A friend referred them. The group that came in both times were friendly and patient. We had a lot of stuff to list and the results were worth using then again. I will refer them to anyone in similar situations.
