Founded in 2018 by couple Greg Rose and John Dale, Maybugs is a family run, independent gift and homewares store based in Sussex. Greg, with his years of retail buying experience and John with his customer service background, decided to open their first store in Hailsham selling ‘Beautiful Things for Fabulous People.’ Two further stores followed in Eastbourne in 2021 and Bexhill-On-Sea in 2022. Each of the Maybugs stores features a plethora of unique gifts, including many UK made items combined with some of the biggest gift and homewares brands in the UK. Now in their six year, Maybugs continues to go from strength to strength and has been recognised by business and retail awards at the highest levels. One of the cornerstones of the Maybugs business is that we are not just a shop, but also part of the community in each of the towns where we are based. We actively support many local causes and charities, giving back to the community who shop with us. Alongside these main sponsorship events, Maybugs also support hundreds of smaller charities / schools and good causes with raffle prizes and goody bag giveaways. Greg and John also actively work with the other business in their locations, and tirelessly support other independents via their social media platforms, encouraging customers to re-discover what’s on their local High Streets.

Would shop again 100%
Ordered a jellycat from them as they were the only few left in stock. Slightly skeptical with ordering at first as I haven’t heard from them before, but the 20% off sale sold the deal. I will definitely recommend purchasing from them again, as well as you receive a 10% discount off repeat purchases.

Best customer service ever
I spend ages looking for a Jelly Cat bouquet to ask my sister to be my bridesmaid. I saw one on the website but it sold out while trying to secure my order. I emailed to see if the had any more, and Debbie quickly replied and made it possible for me to get their last one online. I ordered Sunday and it arrived Tuesday, beautifully wrapped and even had a note inside to say congratulations to us! A lovely experience. I’ll definitely be using them again!

Really impressed by the service and speed of delivery. Beautifully packaged and little extra sweeties inside for the kids. I had to call the shop to ask about delivery and the person who picked up was friendly (and a human...not an auto response!)

Lovely gift set
I ordered an Inis gift set for my friend, she absolutely adores this brand .It was a great price and it was packaged really well, and really cute to add a mini pack of sweets under the tissue paper ! Fast delivery too, I was at work when it arrived, and it was taken to the depot, which is only 10 minutes away , so it was easy to pick up from there . I recommend Maybugs, and would buy from this company again. Thank you !

Amazing service
I ordered the Halloween jellycat I was missing from maybugs and I’m so glad I did the attention to detail when it came to packaging the order was phenomenal.
