Had my windows installed by Nick and Erin. Very polite, arrived when scheduled, respected by home as far as can be expected and cleaned well before leaving. Front door still to be fitted on another date but otherwise very impressed with the service provided.

Ryan, Jamie and Kevin did a fantastic job installing our windows. One was manufactured wrong, so they let us know they would be back the following week with the correct window.
Kevin and Chris returned a week later to install the correct window. The guys arrived promptly both times and we were extremely happy with the service and the windows!

Mayfair Windows installation team have made a beautiful job of removing the old windows and installing the new.

From start to finish it's been well organised and Mayfair have kept in touch via emails.
The window finish is lovely and attention to detail superb, any questions I had were answered straight away.

Conscientious, communicative and precise team work throughout, from John on sales, to Raúl on admin, with Kevin and Chris on installation. Excellent time keeping and meticulous cleanliness, too. The UPVC double glazing product is robust and very efficient, so much so, that we turned down the heating by 2 degrees, within an hour of the installation completion. We would not hesitate to recommend Mayfair Installations for double glazing installation projects. Thank you.

Again another superb job done by Mayfair Installations, we originally Ryan and Cam came out and fitted the downstairs windows and front door, then today, Good Friday Bank Holiday, we had Kev and Chris finish fitting all the upstairs windows, everyone was friendly, polite and professional, they all left our house very clean as they tidied up after themselves. Would recommend Mayfair Installations to anyone and everyone, 2nd job we have had done by them and we are so very impressed at how good our house looks with the new windows and door.

Came to install inside patio doors plus single door. It wasn't an easy job but they managed to install them all to a high standard. I was so happy with their workmanship they were very tidy and a pleasure to have working in my home. They explained everything I needed to know. They are a credit to your company

The work was carried out efficiently. Despite poor weather conditions Kevin and Chris worked as hard as they were able. A job well done!!

Excellent service from Mayfair installations and excellent fitting by Ryan and Lenny

We have had a frustrating experience from start to finish.

We were originally booked in for beginning of January, only to be told that our order from November hadn't arrived in their warehouse so therefore we had to be postponed for a further 4 weeks. We then received a further delay, albeit only a couple of days, but this meant that days off from work were wasted.

On the last day, the fitters turned up telling us that the front door wasn't ready and therefore would have to be fitted another day. We were told to expect a call from the office to discuss dates. A phone call which didn't materialise and we had to chase them up the following week.

We had an issue with every unit purchased.

The kitchen window pane was broken on installation and we had to wait 2 weeks for this to be replaced. We had also asked for trickle vents in this unit which weren’t installed. Upon querying this, the fitter explained that the size of the window was too small to install a trickle vent, yet the salesman had said every unit could have one. Clearly the salesman needs to be educated in what can and cannot be fitted.

The back door that was fitted was not the door we asked for. We felt pressured by the fitter to accept what had been delivered as otherwise the cost of this door would come out of the surveyors wages. We came to an agreement whereby the bottom panel was to be changed for glass rather than plastic, and again this was replaced 2 weeks after initial installation. The door handles also arrived damaged but have since been replaced.

The bathroom window cills (2) were meant to be a pvc woodgrain effect cill. We were then told by the fitters that this doesn’t actually exist. Again, the salesman clearly needs to be educated.

Our front room and porch windows had scratches on them and needed to be replaced. We also asked for restrictors in the front room window but the fitter said this would go against FENSA regulations. The salesman said we can have them. Again, a mis-selling of products by the salesman.

The window in the first bedroom didn’t have the restrictor either and the reasoning was as above.

The handles in our second bedroom was scuffed.

The first set of fitters also left a load of offcuts and excess trim in our garden.

For all of the messing about above, inconveniences, incorrect ordering, time and communication, we were offered less than a 5% discount. I paid as I just wanted the saga with Mayfair to end.

Since then, we received emails from their admin staff with receipts for the balancing payment (not deposit), a guarantee with no start date and maintenance information. I asked repeatedly for a full invoice to send to our housing association and was ignored for 16 days until I emailed another member of staff who got it sorted within 3 hours.

Overall, satisfied with the work we have had done and the workmanship, but the admin and communication leaves a lot to be desired.

UPDATE 22/02/2024 - email from Trustpilot asking for more information on behalf of Mayfair Installation. No further response since

The men who came to fit the windows I could not fault, polite respectful and they worked hard even with a large difficult window in poor light. However the person who measured the windows originally measured one wrong, it too three attempts to put this right resulting in me having to take two extra days off work. The original fitter on day one did tell his boss that a new sash was required but he did not think so this when they tried to refit a second time it still did not fit. No compensation for my time off work was offered.

The lads were really friendly and polite. They put covers down to save the carpets and left our new windows sparkling. Have amended my score because have found the wallpaper ripped and torn from around the frame and the fitters asked me to write a TP review but then hung over me while I wrote my original review which was very intimidating (Kev and Chris)

Whole business was good from first sales meeting and survey to final installation. Ryan and Jamie the hard working fitters are to be congratulated. Clean, tidy and personable. It's difficult to see where they have been apart from we now have new windows! A first class service around. Highly recommend Mayfair Installations.
