PLEASE save your time and perhaps your life

PLEASE save your time, your money and possibly your life - do NOT buy from Andy McCabe. THE BRAKES LITERALLY FELL OUT OF MY CAR on the school run. I could have lost my husband and children forever, due to the incompetence and dishonesty of these people.

The inconsistencies turned to lies, the lies turned to defensiveness, the defensiveness turned to aggression. This is not a nice company to deal with.

Andy McCabe does not care about his customers, and I honestly feel sorry for him. Money is only short lived, but a moral compass is for life, and Andy lacks basic morality. When we called up to let him know about all the issues with the car his answer to us was, "take me to court, you won't win".

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! I have spent a lot of money making sure that the car is safe, and paid over the book value as it is. These guys don't care about your safety.

STAY WELL CLEAR

STAY WELL CLEAR! Terrible service, even worse after care service. These people do not care about their cars, their customers or our safety! From the time I started speaking with them there was one lie after another. We even thought it may have been a scam, but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I spoke directly with Andy, the owner, who was just as bad as the sales person.
I was told that the car had all its papers in order. This was not the case. It still had an old personalised number plate on it, but I was assured I would be able to drive it, on their insurance, until the paperwork had been sorted and the old number plate returned to the vehicle. I didn't want the car until everything was in order and they were not happy about that. It then took 2 more weeks to get the paperwork sorted and then the car was delivered with NO insurance and NO handbrake (which they did take money off for and was easily fixed) and an empty tank. Some lights were not working but they really pressured me into taking the car as they would NOT be delivering it again. We only JUST made it to the fuel station. The car was sold with a guarantee, which was great, since some warning lights appeared after the 1st day, and there were a few things that needed looking at. However the Guarantee company had no knowledge of me. There was no guarantee. After countless messages and more excuses and blatant lies, I eventually got cover by another company, but they won't cover the issue I have. It took me 6 weeks to eventually get a receipt of purchase and I STILL have not been sent the spare key which has been promised to me. It has been 2 months now of constant calling and messaging, only to be met with excuses and lies. I have tried to be patient, and as a business owner myself I feel very uncomfortable writing bad reviews, but pleased be warned. They only care about the cash and will sell you cars that are not in good working order!
