McCambridge Duffy Insolvency Practitioners Reviews 

Having to ask for help with this issue was very hard to do but it was made simple but clear right from the start. I felt heard and understood. Everyone I spoke either over the phone, or on WhatsApp or text or email were kind and warm and supportive. Everything was really straight forward and no one in any way made you feel bad about being in the situation you were in. Life is tough but it is good to know that there are local places out there to support you get the right help for you. I am glad it is sorted and the time will pass before I know it and that will be the end of it. I want to thank all who looked after me from start till now. It has been unbelievable. It was so straight forward and I have very little to do they did all the form filling, attending the meeting, speaking on my behalf and it all turned out just as I advised it would. Much appreciated.

I currently have an IVA open with this company which is due to end in August 2026 and safe to say the communication is really poor and feel completely misadvised and clueless about my current situation. In August 2024, there was a request to do an annual review to provide wage slips etc bearing in mind the last time i done this with them was 2022 so the 2023 Annual review was missed and i also didn't receive my Annual statement break down for 2023, again the last one i recevied was 2022 which i had questions about anyway as one of the creditors on my credit score file had gone so i seek an update from McCambridge in 2022 which i was told everything still to proceed as normal. Turn to 2 year later i receive an annual statement which shows the company that had come off my credit file was Nil claiming so i questioned this to which a very helpful person called Adam Moore called me (i recorded this call as i am unsure if they do record their calls) and explained that this means that creditor was no claiming for their money any more which means I've been way over paying and in fact worked out i shouldn't be pay anymore especially if they haven't been claiming for 2 years! I was told this would be investigated for me and update provided However it has now been 7 week and I've heard nothing, I've emailed and checked portal regularly which there is no updates. If i don't hear an update within the next week, i will be seeking advice from FOS as i feel my case is being miss handled and i am being told lies upon lies.

They have a high level of customer service and they treated me with respect and dignity. They were always on hand to give advice or answer my queries. They did a great job of managing my IVA and helping make sure I could afford the payments. They arranged the settlement and closure of my IVA early as a relative was willing to help financially, and they acted quickly and professionally to schedule a creditors’ meeting and I was debt free and clear of my IVA as my creditors agreed to my offer of settlement. McCambridge Duffy were so helpful from start to finish!

I have spoken to a few different people at mccambridge Duffy and they are all very helpful and always explain everything very well.

If like myself you feel entering an IVA is a daunting prospect then let me reassure you that McCambridge Duffy will be the company you need to turn to. I'm now lucky enough to be nearing the end of my journey after falling into considerable debt but with the help of this very professional company it doesn't have to be as stressful as some might think. I can honestly say they work with you, and will listen to any question no matter how many times you ask it, if like me you don't understand the processes they speak to you with kindness and respect and NOT ONCE did I feel I was being judged for being in debt. Sometimes when we call companies regards bills and debts or any customer call centres we don't get the level of service we sometimes desire but McCambridge Duffy certainly deliver and maybe certain companies could take a leaf out of their book. If you are open and honest at all times with this company I'm 100% certain they will do every they can to help you.

Covid had a huge impact on my work causing me to lose a quarter of my income . Living on my own this had a huge impact on my finances. mcCambridge Duffy have been amazing from the start of the process, helping and full of compassion and empathy. If I had a particularly expensive month ( usually car MOT) there was never a problem with missing a payment and having this added to my plan. The annual reviews were straight forward and an advisor was always there to support and help with any query I had. I am coming to an end with my IVA and the whole experience, even though it was something I never wanted to happen it has been so smooth and I have never been hassled by my creditors. Thank you to all those who have been involved with me over the last 5 years

I asked about liquidating my company, but the lady on the phone wasn't very helpful and didn't sound very interested.

Edit: Wow! I just had plenty of time and came here randomly and left this review. I didn't want you to contact me further after your rude attitude. After speaking for about 3 minutes, that lady on the phone told me that she already had enough time with me on the phone and I had to speak to the other insolvency practitioner.

All lovely people that I have dealt with, I wasnt made to feel ashamed for the situation I was in, and as a
company have given me a life back and a future to look forward too debt free! thank you!
