I honestly can’t recommend Jamie enough. From the initial valuation through to accepting our formal offer, he has been incredibly helpful, understanding and supportive. He took care of everything, helped with viewings, answered all our questions and kept us updated every step of the way. He reassured me that he would be there throughout the whole process — and he genuinely has been.

Our property in Cockenzie (EH32) was only on the market for a month before we accepted a formal offer, which is a fantastic result. Jamie’s expertise clearly made a real difference. From his first visit to our property to provide the valuation, I could see that he is passionate about what he does, has an excellent work ethic and genuinely cares about providing the best service for his clients. Nothing has ever felt like too much trouble.

The property surveyor Andrew Darcy was friendly and honest his manner combined with clear and prompt communications throughout made a huge difference.

The day on which the property was marketed there were numerous enquires, viewings were arranged and offers received.

Great service from McEwan Fraser. I had the house on the market with another agent for 6m. Must’ve had approx 20 viewings, very little feedback and zero offers. Within 2 - 3 weeks had an informal offer which was agreeable and accepted. Above that the support from Elvira and in particular Mike (Michael) who gave solid advice throughout the process, was not pushy at all when I was weighing things up. No, they might not be the cheapest but they are incredibly efficient, the service is great and the dashboard they use is great, gives you a breakdown of how your property is going for views, home reports requested, a handy calendar for viewings and a feedback section showing you verbatim customer feedback.

Our experience of the estate agency part of McEwan Fraser was excellent. Zara, the surveyor, did a first class job and was tremendously helpful in every way. At the negotiating stage Logan's advice was invaluable.

Onboarding went very quickly with Finlay very responsive (usually within minutes to a couple of hours max). Barry Haq then took over as our solicitor with the help of Natasha who continued the entire house purchase process with quick, very helpful and clear replies to all emails. Barry was also very easily reachable and approachable on the phone. All in all a very positive experience and I cannot find a single fault. I can therefore absolutely recommend the company to any prospective house buyers.
